I didn't have very high expectations when I bought these. They arrived with both in the same box, well packaged, no damage. Took only a few minutes to put on the shades and screw in a standard base bulb. I'm using an LED bulb in mine so heat isn't an issue. I recommend a warm light instead of cold light in rooms like the bedroom. Warm will be in the 2700K range while cold is over 4000K.The lamp itself seems to be very well constructed and has some heft to it. So when turning it on/off with the pull chain there is little risk of it toppling over (unless you pull the chain at an extreme angle). The end of the pull chain has a little weight on it which makes it easy to grasp and reliably positions the chain next to the stalk of the lamp.Not a fancy light by any stretch. But serves it's purpose and looks nice for what it is. Should get many years of service out of it. I bought this because it uses a pull chain and I'm glad I did.

Economical and easy fix for light in bedroom or small area. They are cleanly streamlined so they really go anywhere. The chain pull is good if it is used sparingly (like at a bedside) and not in a heavy traffic area (like the living room). The shade and base are sturdy and look very basic, so they will fit into most decors.

The lamps are really nice and fit perfectly on the bedside tables. The one problem I had was with the pull to turn the light on. Because it's made of metal, it clinks against the stem of the lamp every time you turn the light on so loudly that I wrapped the knob (or whatever you call it) with black electrical tape.

Considering the price, I was expecting these to feel flimsy and for the overall quality to be fairly low. Surprisingly these look and feel well built. I won't know how durable these are until I use them for a while, but for now I am happy with the purchase. They take standard bulbs up to a 60 watt rating. You can pretty much put any compatible LED bulb in these as most LED bulbs don't come anywhere near 60 watt. Also I was impressed by how well these were packaged. Both lamps were packed in Styrofoam and each lamp and shade was wrapped with plastic to protect from scratches and tears. If you need a nice, yet cheap pair of lamps then these will be just fine.

At first I was a little nervous about these lamps. When they came in one of them was broken, the pull cord was stuck so you couldn't turn the lamp on or off. So I called the customer service number and they quickly sent me a label to ship them back and refunded my money to an Amazon gift card so I could reorder the lamps. When the second order came in they were perfect, exactly what I was looking for. They are wonderful for the bedside tables we have in our room and I really like that they are simple and can really match just about any style.

I love these lamps! First of all, they look good aand classy. Secondly, and the major reason for me purchasing them, is that I can turn them off and on using the chain, vice twisting a knob! Wowza, what a relief on my hands, as I suffer from both arthritis and Neurothopy in my hands. I am very pleased with this purchase! The lamps look really nice in my bedroom, and are sturdy and look more expensive than what I paid for them, which by the way, was a very reasonable price! I recommend these lamps, wholeheartedly. Speedy delivery too!

These are exactly what we were hoping for — a pair of inexpensive, sturdy, attractive lamps for night table use. One of the two lamps received had a small scratched spot on the vertical stem: not very noticeable but not great for a new product. I noted this in my initial Amazon feedback and was quickly contacted by the supplier. After exchanging a few emails, they shipped two new lamps that arrived in perfect condition. I’m now very pleased with both the lamps and the customer service received.

I love these lamps! I just wanted something simple for my desk, a matching set, which was harder to find than I thought. The bases are black and the shades white. I love the pull strings and they work great. They were packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. It super easy to put in the bulb and shade and then you're good to go! If you're considering these, I'd say go for it!
