3M Hand Painting Safety Goggles 4800, clear

These goggles consist of a hard, very clear lens held in a flexible plastic surround. I couldn't get a perfect seal against my skin but it's good enough. You probably don't want/need it airtight anyway. They are very light and comfortable to wear.

Disposable safety goggles. Good for a few uses.Brand new - absolute clarity of vision. Not a tight fit (limited adjustment with straps) which has a benefit of ventilation to avoid steaming up but a small risk when grinding of sparks getting in. Comfortable fit for an adult face.Will last for a few uses with care then replace.Thought of another use - safety goggles when using my BB gun. It's surprising how the pellets come back at you off a hard surface.

This is a review of a free sample. Comes in an easy to open blister pack but my first impressions were that it is a cheap item and I think £8.99 (as at time of review is a bit much) and I am not impressed, I see similar looking items on Amazon for less than £1.50 so I think you are paying for the 3M name. It's made from what feels like a hard rubbery plastic. My one was badly distorted in shape where it meets the face (see photo), the blister pack was not squashed so this is a manufacturing issue. Although it is pliable enough to mould to my face it's not that comfortable and has an unpleasant pungent smell and since it's a product that's right next to your nose that is an issue. I could still smell that on my skin when I took them off so my advice is wash them first. Even after 2 washes the smell was still there on the product. There was an unnecessarily huge A2 sized pamphlet that came with it which basically (when you find the English part) says wash them when they're dirty and throw them away if they're scratched or more than 5 years old. I believe they offer enough protection but due to the bad shape and bad smell I would buy a different and probably cheaper product. Sadly, I cannot recommend them.

Safety/Painting goggles, ideal for all round vision, the strap is adjustable, the lense will take minor bumps with ease, and the goggles are as comfortable as expected, and they do keep the paint from your eyes so overall, good product.

These are simple and affordable safety goggles. Come in a blister pack. As another reviewer said, the quality control on these is not great - mine also had a moulding imperfection at the top which means that a full seal is not possible around the eyes.

This is a very good quality product. It fits adult head well. It has stiff plastic all around. Soft plastic on the edge which touches your face for a snug fit. The elastic strap is fully adjustable.

These do the job, they're not too big or small, are made by one of my favourite manufacturers 3M, all their products are well made and robust.Used these to do some sanding and they didn't steam up or wobble on my nose.Great product and a very reasonable price!
