Great hold, clean finish, and my girlfriend loves it!
This stuff is legit. The hold is strong without making my hair look stiff or crunchy. It gives a nice matte finish—no grease or weird shine, just clean, textured control. The scent is subtle but fresh, which I love.Took a few tries to get the amount right (a little goes a long way), but once I dialed it in, it became my daily go-to. Easy to apply, easy to restyle during the day, and it doesn’t flake or build up.Bonus—my girlfriend totally digs the way it makes my hair look. That alone makes it worth keeping in the rotation.Highly recommend if you want something that looks natural but keeps everything locked in. I’ll be buying this again for sure.

Best pomade I've ever used, love the subtle sandalwood and pine scent.
This stuff is a game changer. I've tried every type of styling product and dozens of different pomades over the years. None of them have performed as well as this product. It's perfect for medium length wavy hair. It has a really subtle sort of manly scent, and spreads and applies easily and evenly. I wash my hair once a week and rinse it good daily. The build up of product between washings just makes it look better. It looks good after the gym and even looks good when I wake up with minimal effort. I'll never use anything else.

A product I was not expecting
To state it very clearly, this is the absolute best hair styling product I’ve ever used. I am a more “casual” user of hair products and fashion/style has never been something that came to me easily. But it has always been important to me. This pomade is perfect for me, I love the texture and the scent is very natural and not overwhelming at all. Also, it is “forgiving” in a way that many men’s hairstyling products are not. Meaning, if you use too little or especially if you use too much, it is not obvious to people around you, no ridiculous sheen to your hair and I’ve always been able to work it into my hair so that it was a non-issue. Ive been excited to use this product since I first got it a few weeks ago and now Im styling my hair more days than not. If youre on the edge, try it.

Won’t use anything else in my hair
I discovered Highland through an Instagram ad and decided to try it out. I had been using Woody’s cream for years and it served me well, but I noticed that when my hair got longer in between cuts my hair would be flat using the cream. Now, with Highland’s pomade, I never have a bad hair day in between cuts. My hair feels fuller when using the product and it’s easy to style with a great hold that lasts all day. It also smells great and I love the natural ingredients. The company also offers a subscription program where you can get it for cheaper per shipment.

Difficult to work with, but nice natural look.
I wish I loved this more. The cons: It’s pretty difficult to work with (let alone scoop it out of the canister). Even with damp hair, it’s extremely thick and sticky, and you really have to pull hard to evenly spread it around. The workability is far inferior to a petroleum-based product like Cremo or American Crew. It’s almost like the consistency of tree sap if you’re familiar. The pros: Once you manage to get it to a place you like, it has a wonderful matte texture and a loose hold, which gives a much more casual, natural look compared to other products. It also smells fantastic. Very evergreen-forward which I enjoy.Overall, this isn’t a daily product for me just because it’s so hard to work with, but on the weekends when I have extra time to mess around, or if I don’t mind the look slowly getting messy throughout the day, this is a great option! Solid 3-stars.

It's a good pomade
Hard to heat up and get it going in your hands, but maybe because it's 63 degrees Fahrenheit indoors. It's not easy to work into my hair, but again it's probably to the cooler temperature. I have thick, straight hair that sticks out if you cut it wrong. This pomade handles it pretty well. Once it's worked in, it holds the styling together. This stuff does not flatten the hair like regular pomade, or in other words, if your hair has "body" or fluff to it, this clay pomade will keep it that way. There is no gloss, which I like. And like most pomades, this Highland stuff also does a good job moistening dry hands. With delivery via Prime, well I ordered it April 11th, and got it April 18th. Not very prime. I could go to the drugstore and grab another brand of clay pomade in less than a day. This stuff is pricey, which I cannot figure out why it's so. All-natural ingredients means they don't need to formulate compounds to make pomade, so it should cost less, but it's not. While it's a good product, I don't think it's any better than the other brands costing much less.

Looks great, holds great, smells great, feels great.
I've spent about 10 years looking for this product. Highland's pomade performs exactly as advertised. It feels great in the hands and the hair--you truly do not even feel it when you go throughout your day. I have thicker hair, and most pomades and clays don't do a good job of holding my hair in place. The ones that do tend to make my hair stiff and sticky. With Highland, I just get my hair damp before applying and I get the amount of hold and manipulation I want. It's easy to use.Another underrated aspect of Highland is the scent. It smells like a nice men's soap or aftershave--but very natural. It is a little small, but it lasts me about three weeks. I highly recommend Glacial Clay Pomade.

Generally good, needs better batch control
I like the neat and plastic free packaging. The clay holds well, doesn't feel as floppy or gluey as a lot of products I have used. It feels very natural and has a good hold. On most recent one I got, it was very gritty instead of smoother like the first several that I have gotten. Generally good quality but a little hesitant to commit more buying if there's QA issues.
