I wanted a chair so I could put on my shoes. I wanted a ladder. I didn't want to take up additional space. This was bang on the right size width wise and very practical. The unit is well made and comes with a gloves (Chinese hand size obviously) and a screwdriver (not massively robust but used carefully it is good enough) and plenty of spare screws.The instructions are mostly pictures so as long as you go carefully and check the sizes/holes, it is pretty obvious to anyone who has assembled Ikea furniture how it goes together - and in my time I have done so much Ikea furniture...Clever seat folding arrangement, sensible clasps, steps turn into under seat shelving. All very well made so I am pretty impressed. Takes the weight of a 15 stone bloke easily.

This looked a great idea when I ordered as a bit of fun to give to my height challenged wife, however, we were both extremely pleased with the product. It is great design which is easy to assemble, as proven by my son. Once put together it is robust and sturdy. Even my wife, who is over an average weight felt comfortable when using it as a set of steps. A great addition to the kitchen furniture.

The media could not be loaded. Pros: it works, it's not terribly expensive, it's made of reasonable, solid pine and it looks nice. It also came with a screwdriver and a glove to protect your hand, which was a nice touch.Cons: the instructions are rubbish so allow yourself a couple of hours to put it together and make sure you can look up the images on here to work out what it is supposed to look like.

Instructions are in Chinese (?)But the pictures do make sense - just make sure the pieces you're putting together are the same as the picsIt's a great piece of furniture.I think I would have liked it a little largerThe steps are very sturdy - and I'm a big man 😂I'm very happy with it.

The wood is thin and I received no metal work with the package. I have sent messages via amazon system to seller, no comms at all. Terrible product and service. Avoid.

Only after assembling I saw there was a damage to the seat top. I am very disappointed.

Easily assembled from flat pack. Latches to hold both in ladder and chair position. A solid bit of furniture, plain but functional.
