$500 paperweight
I have been trying to get my SIM card working in this and it's just not going to happened. I tried the BlackVue SIM then that didn't work. Went to Verizon and they don't support BlackVue. Actually switched my entire wireless service to AT&T which does support BlackVue and the thing still doesn't work.The "support" is laughable and extremely unhelpful. They just keep sending you "how to" clips. I've tried emailing, chatting, they wont let you call. I'm over it and returning this. Its sad I wont get the money back that I paid to have it installed.Just get another device and avoid this massive hassle.

Very buggy camera and app.
I was drawn to a 4K LTE dash cam but nothing about the app or camera looks or works as expected. The dashcam video quality is grainy until downloaded as original version. Even then it just looks HD and not 4K. The camera will flip out and send rapid fire alerts when nothings happening. The bug crashes 70% of the time. It uses about 95mb per video alert which adds up. Customer support is barely helpful and you're left spending hours configuring and reconfiguring the dash cam. Settings randomly go back to default and there's no fix.It's nice when everything works 30% of the time. Definitely not worth $600.

Spends a lot of time not working
Ok when it worked. Bought it because it had the ability monitor the cameras remotely via cell phone; on a 30 day trip around the country that feature worked about 20% of the time. The app is terrible, repeatedly set options and saved them but the app never changed them. The system would through periods where it kept restarting every minute or two - tried to turn off the voice in the app but, surprise surprise, the voice didn't turn off. If it was a car I could probably get my money back using the lemon law. This thing is a waste of money, DON'T BUY IT!

Great when it's not constantly restarting or shutting down
I've had three Blackvue cameras now in various cars and they have all needed far more maintenance than the car itself. Always buggy software, although the app has vaguely improved. This however has to be the biggest waste of $600 I've spent. The LTE card it shipped with never worked, had to buy one from T-Mobile, It's constantly switching itself off or restarting despite re-formatting the SD card and reloading the software. It's crap, go find something else.
