Bottles are a game changer!
My premature daughter was using Mam bottles for 2 months as recommended by the hospital. She was very gassy, kept straining all night, spitting/vomiting even after holding her up for 30mins. I looked into another brand bottle & gave Philips a go. 2 weeks & what a game changer! Sleeps are much better, no vomiting & spit ups & much less gassy & she seems to be wanting more milk. I ordered more Philips Avent bottles, replacing all her Mam bottles. In the first use I can see how good the quality is & value for money. The bubbles are trapped in the bottle where else the Mam just cleared everything into the baby & the teats had such a fast flow even on the smallest size teat. The Philips teat are amazing as the milk only drips when baby sucks. I would highly recommend & the design is also cute. What a difference its made. So happy with these purchases 😊

Godsend!
I have 3 boys and the eldest two wouldn’t touch a bottle as newborns - the first started on avent bottles then started to refuse and then at 8 months I had to order special bottles from America that they no longer make - the second one never even drank from a bottle a day in his life and my 3rd baby was showing the same signs. I tried this bottle at 1 month and he point blank refused. Out of sheer desperation after him being away from me for over 6 hours and starving himself I tried again at 3 months and he took it! He’s now drinking regularly from it with no problem. Quick and easy to assemble and cute in design. Whatever the secret is Avent have it and it really has made life so much easier. My only con is the jump from 4oz to 9oz in bottle size as he drinks breastmilk so doesn’t need as much as formula and would just personally prefer a 6oz then 9oz but that’s a personal thing I have and nothing to take away from how great the bottle is!

The absolute best bottle, no brand can compare
Wow, we cannot recommend these enough! These bottles are the absolute bee's knees. We have been using Tommee Tippee bottles from the start with our newborn, always leaking, always milk all over her face, always a struggle for her...We switched to these and we could see and feel the difference from the first feed. These are made from much more robust plastic, do not leak and have a mechanism to pace your baby and not drown it with milk like other bottles do...Dare I say, it seems she even burps easier now.GET THESE for your baby!!

Perfect bottles
I used these bottles with my newborn baby and they were fantastic, my baby never got gas and its flow is almost the same as that of the breast, it never rejected my breast and I still use them.

Impossible for a baby to remove any milk
Terrible product. In 40 minutes of suckling, our baby wasn't able to remove any milk from the bottles. This is the last things that you need when you have a hungry baby! That design is so over complicated, and now we're not even able to return them. Total waste of money. We've bought mam ones instead, which have been simple and easy to use right away.

Cannot go wrong with these bottles
Got these as a gift for a new mummy friend as her baby had bad gas with MAM bottles. I recommend these bottles to every mum out there. They are simply amazing & such value for money. The quality is very durable and the design is simple but slick with good size, the functionality of these bottles is very straight forward and simple no faffing about and less stressful when washing and drying/sterilising. Additionally cleaning these bottles for me in comparison to other bottles are just so easy.

Good teat - paint came off in 2 weeks
I was really excited to try the Philips Avent baby bottles, and there are certainly some great features that I enjoyed. The design is sleek, and the teat is fantastic. One of my favorite aspects is that milk doesn’t come out unless the baby actively sucks, allowing my baby to drink at her own pace. The teat was such a hit that it caused an unexpected issue—my baby no longer liked drinking directly from me, as the teat on the bottle is longer than my own nipple. This meant I had to pump and use the bottle for nighttime feeds, which wasn’t my original plan. However, I did encounter some frustrations with these bottles. To ensure proper venting, you need to align the air hole on the teat with the vent in the bottle. The challenge is that there’s no marker to guide you, so it requires a lot of trial and error, opening and closing the bottle lid repeatedly to get it right. It also leaked a few drops on several occasions.Another major issue was with the lid. When tightening it, the lid would move, but the teat often stayed in place. This misalignment would block the air hole, meaning the vent couldn’t function as intended. To fix this, I had to repeatedly use my hands to push the teat out and reposition it through the lid. This was not only frustrating but also raised concerns about sterilization. After taking care to sterilize the bottle parts beforehand, having to manually adjust the teat multiple times felt like it defeated the purpose entirely. This made the setup process very tedious and added unnecessary stress during feeding preparation. In fact, you could prepare an entire bottle of formula in the time it took to properly align the teat and valve. Despite my efforts, I didn’t notice any significant improvement in reducing wind for my baby compared to using my MAM bottles. That said, I did love the controlled flow of the Philips Avent bottles, which allowed my baby to feed comfortably at her own pace.In summary, the Philips Avent bottles have some excellent features, like the well-designed teat and slow milk flow, but the fiddly setup process, vent alignment issues, and sterilization concerns detract from the overall experience. For me, the pros didn’t quite outweigh the cons.
