This is an excellent saw, and is priced reasonably (at least compared to other medical grade saws). Our staff report that it works well and is actually quieter than the more expensive Stryker saw we had used in the past. It comes with a foam padded travel case, and it is sturdy and well made. It also spreads less dust and is somewhat quieter than the Stryker saw. There is a setting adjustment on the device (1-6). The higher the setting, the better it cuts (and the louder it gets). I have found 5 works well for most fiberglass casts. I have used it for a month with no problems. It has been an excellent product at a reasonable price, and we are pleased that we went with this choice rather than the significantly more expensive choices. There were some less expensive options (with a similar body but a different electrical cord) that didn't have stellar reviews, and we are pleased that we chose this option. I can't comment on long-term durability at this time.

Bought this after my really old Stryker cast saw finally stopped working. Unfortunately it is the absolute worst. It’s ridiculously loud and can barely cut through anything. I’m going to order another Stryker saw because it’s honestly embarrassing trying to use this thing to cut a cast off in front of patients. As with most everything the price is too good to be true, do yourself a favor and buy a real cast saw, this thing is a joke

Once I figured out what setting to use, 6 worked best for me, the saw cut the fiberglass cast off better than our old one. It vibrates a lot less too. It came with 3 different blades, which is great. I cut a slot in the foam padding of the case so I would not have to keep removing the blade when storing. The only down side is the cord is short and I needed an extension. Other than that, it was great and we will be getting one for our other office.

I bought this product for my small Family Medicine clinic and it has been fantastic to use. I have used it twice to remove fiberglass style casts without any issue. It worked well, did not overheat and caused no injuries. The saw has a great locking carrying case. It is well protected and I am loving the product!!

Worth the money. I needed a cast cutter on short notice and a budget. I've used it several times, I works very well. Its nit as fast as the more expensive cast cutter but it doesnt matter. The cast it comes with is perfect for storage and it has different option for cutting accessories which helps. Definitely a good buy!

This cast saw broke during its first use. It had not even cut through one small cast before it malfunctioned and started sparking. I turned the machine off, and now it will not even turn on again. It was incredibly distressing for me and the patient to get stuck in the middle of a cast removal with a saw that would not work.

We got this cast cutter fast when our expensive M-Pact cutter died. The shipping was fast and it cut great. Build quality doesn't seem to be as heavy duty as the M-Pact cutter, but for the price I'm very happy so far. We've had it for about 3 months now without problems.

Nicely packaged, and works perfectly. The cord is a bit short, but not problematic. The nut that holds the blade in place needs to be tightened prior to each use...also, not a problem. Variable speed blade...I have used it at 5, as recommended by other users. Overall, great product at fantastic price.
