White Elephant gone wrong
So I bought this radio for a White Elephant Christmas exchange game, with the family. Normally I buy the gift for my husband and I, Later I tell him what we bought to join the fun. The game starts and my husband went straight to the Radio and he did not let it go. Long story we kept/won the radio and my husband uses it almost every weekend. it super cool. bluetooth, AM/FM (Picks up stations perfectly). works using plug, solar, or batteries. sound is great and looks super cute on our fireplace mantel, definitely gives a retro feel.

Love my new radio!
I LOVE this little radio. It’s absolutely adorable. I love that I can charge it with usb cable provided. I haven’t tried the solar charge. But I have it playing for two days and it has not shut off. Looks so cute at my office desk. Light enough to take anywhere. Sounds amazing on WayFM. Surprised at how inexpensive it was.

Good radio.
This little radio is pretty loud for how small it is. Very crisp and clear and the battery seems to last a nice long while. The only reason I give this four out of five stars is the volume nob is very cheesy and moves around a bit when you adjust the volume. I think that's the weakest part of this whole thing, it's a great radio but I know one day that volume nob is going to snap off. Overall it's a good buy and a good radio.

All of the features of this radio work well.
Love this radio, both for it's looks and it's features. Everything works. When I first got it, I charged it fully through the wall outlet as per the instructions and it charged pretty quickly, in under two hours though it said it would take longer. The sound quality is great and you can turn up the volume quite high if you need to.It is also quite lightweight and the handle is both durable and makes it very easy to carry. The solar panel and antenna both fold well out of the way. I haven't yet tried the solar charging panel so I can't really comment on it. You can also insert two D Batteries as well. The shortwave mode also works but you have to be in the right area or time of day to reach anything. I don't really know much about shortwave reception though so I'll have to work with it more to see how effective the reception can be. I did pick up some signals when I brought the radio near an open window at dusk.I did put some music on a micro sd card after formatting it to FAT32 on my computer as per the instruction manual and when I inserted it into the radio, it played the music once I switched the radio to "Music" mode. And again the sound quality is great! And the pause, fast forward, and previous/rewind buttons work also. Do note that the micro sd card is referred to as a "TF" on the radio and also in the manual. And the card does go most of the way in but not all of the way in but does fit well and won't fall out.All in all, a great product! I would recommend!

Great radio. Great product.
I have two other different models from them and wanted to try this one out. It’s a little powerhouse radio. Solar works great and the speaker is small but is loud enough.Nostalgic looking radio that is cute. The only thing I would like on it would be an earbuds plug and possibly a cover for the solar panel. I will make one out of duct tape and cardboard.

Better Than I Thought It Would Be
A little over a year ago I bought a solar powered radio that also operated by a hand crank. It wasn't until after buying it that I found it took 10,000 cranks to charge it up. It had poor sound as well. This time I bought the Prunus. Mostly for its looks. I honestly wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised with what I gotIt's built very well, quite solid and it does look really cool. Even more important is that it sounds better than most radios in that size. It holds its charge while playing the radio when the sun is out.The only drawback is the tuner window. As expected. It is small in size so you have to be patient when tuning in a station but to make up for that, it pulls in weaker stations very well.Would I buy this again? Sure, but I don't think I'll have to any time soon.

Good value for price
The radio looks good and shows quality made. Really like the fact that it uses D cell batteries which as to the weight Keeping it stable for outdoor activities. The solar panel is very sensitive and starts charging with small amount of light. Speaker is adequate but a little muddy at the higher volumes. Tuning is not too sharp, reception is good. Purchased two, One for home one for outdoor activities. They will get a lot of use and will post later the results of longtime use.
