Works great
Great value and for me it works great. My mic is quite weighty and I have had no issues with the springs in the arm as some have. Came with a pop filter too. :)

Cheaply made but does the job fine
The arm itself is very squeaky and cheaply made but holds the mic in place and does the job. If you just want a cheap mic stand that does the job. Go for it, wouldn't recommend it for professional use though.

Decent
Perfect for my blue yeti. Seems sturdy, can be folded out the way when you don’t require your microphone. Clamps to your desk nicely, and doesn’t come loose when moving the arm. For the price, it’s definitely worth it

Can be good - or the springs can be dangerous
Revised review:I've now used this with a much heavier microphone, and replaced the springs - and it's working well. With a heavier microphone, the forces seem to be right - and the balance is there. With only a lightweight mic - it's a catapult. So I'm easing back on my original negative review - and saying sometimes this is good and works first time - but that you might have to modify it (remove some of the springs) in your application.Original review:Watch the Jimmy C video. As he says - remove all the springs - and this thing becomes usable.Somewhere along the way - the springs must have been swapped for ones with a much higher tension (and it seems like no-one cared). The springs have far too high a tension - and that makes the arms quite capable of suddenly scissoring closed with some force on fingers (please be especially careful if you have small children around). It's actually of not-too-bad manufacturing quality - and with the springs removed - the friction locks are sufficient to hold in most positions (say with up to a 500g / 1lb load).Springs are easily disconnected with strong fingers.Upper springs can be fully removed.Lower springs can only easily be disconnected at one end.(I snipped through the hooks on the lower springs - with some high quality spring-wire cutters - rather than do a major disassembly).(this is the large-size 48cm / 19inch version)My previous experience of Amazon Basics has been very good. This rather lets the brand down with poor design and/or ill-considered parts substitutions. If I wasn't in need of using it immediately for a live event - I'd probably return it for something better. As it is, it'll get used until I buy something better.

Arm Stand with Pop Filter and Foam Windscreen
Every one of those three things is usable and good enough for me.Buying a pop filter alone could easily cost you around £10.So no complaints whatsoever.

Unsuitable for intended purpose
Really poor build quality and cheap materials (maybe unsurprising for a basics item, but it's not fit for purpose). The part that slots into the desk clamp had bent and required strong arming back into position. The springs have greater strength than the clamps, regardless of how tight you turn them so it doesn't hold position.

Perfect for home studios.
For me, this is much better than a mic stand. It folds away when not in use and fits and positions my mic exactly where I want it.Good value for money, too

Good price
Good for the price. If you put the maximum load, the arm will move down and won’t stay up. But it holds my microphone just fine
