perfect for my subaru
I was looking for a sturdy cup holder to use on the passenger side of my Subaru outback. I have a large Stanley cup that I am now able to place in this holder. It hangs on the small "ledge" that is next to the passenger seat. It is very sturdy. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is able to slide back and forth when I move the seat back and forth. The cup is quite heavy when full since it is a 20 oz cup. Definitely worth the price.

it's small
it's way smaller than I expected. if you're using it for a small bottle of water or water bottle. maybe. but nothing of my 24 oz fit. also for the money it's not particularly well made. seems like it would easily crack and break under the weight of any but the smallest water bottles

Bought this for the plane
I thought I was so smart buying this for the plane to hold my water bottle or coffee but it doesn’t work on all planes. When it does work it’s awesome. And when it doesn’t - I wish it did. If the seat back in front of you has a mesh pocket it won’t hold tight enough.

Junk. Not worth the money at all.
I have a Honda CR-V, and this cup holder does not clip onto the side pocket very well at all. It kept popping off. I don't like writing bad reviews but this was a piece of junk. I bought two ... one for my Toyota Corolla and one for the SUV, and it doesn't fit snug on either car. Very disappointing, especially on a trip I just got home from. They were rolling around on the floorboard. It's a good thing both drinks had screw-on lids or I would have been very upset.

Bought this to use in my mail truck. Very sturdy and holds the large cups the I buy from fast food places well!

I needed an extra cupholder, and I didn't have a lot of room
My older Honda Civic only has two cup-holders but a frequent take-out order from our house involves three drinks. After looking at various designs, I decided to try this one. I had planned to clip it to the map pocket in the driver's door, but that didn't turn out be an easy task. I tried the vent clip that comes with this cup-holder, and it's working very well. I'll order another one of these if I need one in the future.
