Constantly in use while in and out of vehicle delivering items. Much easier than fumbling with a loose key.Larger than you would expect(pen for scale) but good quality. Works the same as when I brought it.Metal belt clip still holds well.

Decided to get something substantial when the cord on my old extending pass holder started to fray.Saw these have good ratings, so decided to go for it. It is made by an American company - Key-Bak. I get the impression that these are THE key reels to have.Wow! It's BIG!!!!! Although made from some sort of plastic, it nevertheless appears very sturdy. The cord is kevlar according to the write-up, it is much thicker than the one on my old key reel (a cheapo one supplied with the pass) and gives me a lot of confidence that it is going to last.The lock to stop the cord extending on it's own if you have a large bunch of weighty keys on it is a little bit of a waste for me - given that only my pass is on it, which weighs nothing at all, but should I need to put something heavier on it, I had no doubt it will do the job.It's a nice smooth feel when you extend the cord (my pass is a proximity door opener) and there is a slot on the side that the cord runs through it you need to pull it across your body - depending on which side of the door the detector is.The cord is plenty long enough too and I have had no snagging or anything untoward during use.The clip to attach to your belt is very strong and sturdy, and the way it is shaped means there is no way it could accidentally come off. There is a small pin provided so you can turn it into a belt loop, but I haven't bothered with that.The only warning is that the pin is underneath a sticky label on the reverse of the card insert of the packing. Be careful not to discard the packing by accident before removing the pin - it's easily missed!!!!!I am very please with this so far, but like the title of this review says, it's early days - I have only had it about two weeks.

Awesome! I've been using this product for years at work. This is the third one I've bought and each has lasted a few years. The only reason they have had to be replaced it due to me catching them on trolly cages and they have ended up snapping the cord which is my fault as I forget to clip them in the safety lock, and I keep doing it! GRRR! Otherwise I would probably still be using the original one I bought back round 2011 (ish). But in all fairness the amount of times I've got them caught versus the amount of time they've actually snapped is massive. Most of the time they don't break and I end up being pulled backwards as I go to walk off and end up looking a fool. And even when they do snap I just tie them back together and they last me months more.Sure they're not cheap but they are built to last which is more than I can say about most products which are built to replace. Awesome product and when I manage to break this one I will defo buy another! And I will break it at some point, because I'm a muppet!Oh and by the way, in my job I pull out the cord to use keys constantly all day long! Probably around 80-100 times a day. This means it is fully extended and retracted around that many times per day. When I've bought cheap £5 cords from local markets they've only lasted a few weeks at best, even the chain link ones. So this one has always impressed me.*** UPDATE NOVEMBER 2019 ***Still going strong! I've not managed to break it yet. Doesn't even look worn and still using it all day, 5 days a week, between 80-100 times per day. Can't fault it!** UPDATE OCTOBER 2021 **I'm not working that job anymore but i still have this key cord! It still lives!

I hate carrying my bulky work keys in my pocket so this is an ideal solution. It clips onto the belt easily or a supplied bar can be attached to make a belt loop, meaning it can't be pulled off. The entire thing is durable with the nub containing the ring being able to clip into reel, which means you won't be unnecessarily wearing out the internal mechanism even with lots of keys or heavier items attached to it.The cord on the reel is also very long; with it on my hip I can stretch my arm above my head and it will still reach.

I purchased this 4 years ago for a present for someone in work for their ID badge. This is extremely tough, very durable, and still like new! 4 years later still going strong and tough. Very well worth the money. Personally I wouldn't look else where these are amazing ❤️

Good quality, long string and metal clip.It would be easier to lose pants than keys from this thing!
