Worked for my fur baby!
My 9 year old 100lb AmStaff Pitty started moving slowly. Slowly sitting, slowly getting up, slowly going up/down stairs, etc. It was breaking my heart. I know he’s getting up there in age but, I want him to be as comfortable as possible as he ages. I tried this and OMG it works! He’s mobility is looking a lot better! I only give him half a dose because it is a little pricy but, it still works amazingly. My mom started giving her 10yr old pocket pit it too and it worked on her as well. She’s an old girl but, now she has a pep in her step. Recommend to at least try it.

Works great! Well worth the price
I have a 10 y/o German Shepherd. She has arthritis and has a hard time getting up or walking up the stairs. Per my vets recommendation I had her on Synovi which helped. My dog didn't like these though and would spit them out if she found them in her food. I then tried Joint Max chewables which also seemed to help but she didn't really like those either. If I crumbled them and mixed them in the food she would eat them but I hated the feel and smell of my hands afterward so I decided to give these a try. The Vets Best is by far this is the best. My dog will sometimes eat these straight but I tend to crumble them in her food still. They crumble nicely and easily so I don't need to mash it with anything. I just rub the two tablets together. I give her two a day with her food and notice that she is really getting around a lot better. Now I will admit that she has been on a diet (which she was before) and also is eating a dog food with a joint supplement already in it so that probably has a a little to do with her status but I am still convinced that the biggest progress was made from these supplements. I plan to keep her on this Vet's Best (level 3) brand.

Great Product however
I've purchased this product at double the price from 'big box' stores after a sales representative at the store strongly recommended it. It has much more in the way of active ingredients than any other joint supplements I've found to date. My lab has had TTA (tibial tuberosity advancement) surgery on one knee and the other cruciate ligament is now gone. He is only 4 years old now (had the surgery at 2 1/2 years - other litter mates also have these issues so his problem is more genetic than activity related). I'm trying some non-invasive measures before I send him back to the operating room and at least 3 months of difficult recuperation. I liked it so I decided to search online for more economical vanues and found Amazon had it at an unbelievable price - and if you order enough, the shipping is free. It's a win-win situation. My only complaint is that several of the tablets were no longer tablets ... I really don't know how many but there was a lot of just powder in the bottom and many halves, quarters and pieces. Perhaps just better packaging would do the trick. All in all, I am pleased with the product, but felt the damage to some of the tablets warranted mentioning.

Good so far!
I have two very active dogs involved in competitive Agility and Lure Coursing, both rigorous sports. I have been giving them Vet's Best Advanced Hip and Joint tablets as a preventative measure to help keep their joints healthy for as long as I can. I like this product because it contains glucosamine, MSM, AND chondroitin; and I also like it for the price. With free two day shipping from Amazon Prime, you really can't beat it! My smaller dog, she is a 35lb Border Collie/Catahoula mix, gets one tablet per day, in the morning. My other dog, an Ibizan Hound, is bigger (70lbs) so he gets two a day, one with each of his meals. I just plop the tablet in their food bowls and they gobble it all right up - they don't seem to mind the taste at all, in fact, if I forget to put it in with their food they will both eat one straight out of my hand as well. But, my dogs aren't very picky and will eat just about anything I give them! Both of my dogs are now 4 and haven't had any joint problems yet, though I have tried a few other products in the past too. So, so far so good with this product.

Works great
My dog Raven (Black Lab, 4 years old) had ACL surgery in June of 2011, he did well but after 9 months he started limping again, not wanting to walk, not wanting to get up at all and he would limp heavily after even short walks. Back to the vet, more x-rays, diagnosis was that he had severe arthritis in that knee. The vet recommended a special food, couldn't do the food because of the ingredients (we don't feed by-products) and corn being the main ingredient along with wheat gluten etc (Raven has bad allergies). We looked for a supplement, tried something else first, then read about Vet's Best. I can highly recommend this supplement, it has done wonders for our Ravie, he's active and happy again. His brother Shadow (2 year old Lab mix) is also very happy because now he can play with Ravie again. Raven still has days where he limps slightly, but he doesn't need any more of the Rimadyl for pain or inflammation, the Vet's Best advanced formula is keeping him feeling good. He loves the taste of the Vet's Best and comes running when I tell him it's time for his pill:)I like the price of Vet's Best here on Amazon, best price around especially because Raven gets 3 pills a day, so one bottle last one month. I was ordering the supplement from another place first, but they always ended up arriving all powdery and broken, hard to give the right dosage if the pills are all fallen apart. I don't have that problem when ordering from Amazon. 5 Stars for Vet's best and Amazon:)

This caused issues for my dog
I started this with just giving my dog a quarter of a pill then a week later a half and so on. Gradually. He is now up to a pill but wont eat his food. He wont touch the stuff. I grind it and mix with water and give it to him through a dropper. Now i have to stop the product and see if he will eat his food again. Such a pain. I bought this because i trusted the brand and none of the reviews were too scary like other glucosamine products. But I guess with every product for dog or cats there are a lot of negative responses and everybody’s pets are different. But this is a no from me.
