Fabulous herby aroma with a nice hint of mint. Long lasting and powerful aroma, but not overpowering.

Good sized oil and well packaged. Bought this upon recommendation from tik tok - needless to say it did not help to induce labour. I was given this again to smell in the hospital by my midwife - so clearly has some potency and possibly could work for some... Quite a distinct smell so might not be for everyone. The oil itself is a good quality however.

Beautiful product. You can tell the quality and pureness of the product by the smell . It is everything I hoped it would be. Smooth and herbal , not harsh , pungent or alcoholicy . It is not like sage which can be a bit overpowering / whiffy (!) it is sort of green/ woody / citrusy / slightly bitter lavender ( as opposed to a sweet lavender?) if that makes sense ? Then there is the packaging and leaflet information with all of the accreditation’s and assurances etc. I had been looking for Clary Sage and a lot of reviews of the oil itself or other suppliers were not great particularly on the smell so I was a little hesitant however I wanted to use it for the effectiveness of its properties for treatments , wellbeing etc. Having researched I’d seen this brand recommended by a reviewer as to quality to use on a baby bump ! So I figured if it’s appropriate to use for a mum to be then I would be happy to use it. Im not disappointed. It is a lovely oil and I would without hesitation recommend it and this brand

Used to induce labour. Didn't work but was very relaxing when used in bath and did trigger strong Braxton hicks when rubbed into belly. (I used a couple of drops in a base oil such as coconut oil). Really relaxing scent and use it in my oil burner now my baby is here. Bit pricey, but will treat myself to it every now and again as the quality is great. Worth the price.

I bought this particular oil along with seven others from Tisserand. I had been using essential oils and carrier oils for the last couple of years. However, I'd switched to a mainly organic diet about a year ago so I was keen to source high quality, organic essential oils. This is was brought me to Tisserand.I've used cheaper brands of clary sage which smelt nice, but, I was keen to go all-organic! I am converted! This is a beautifully-smelling oil and I like the fact that it's ethically harvested too. I like to use this to help alleviate the monthly cramps. It really works! I burn it in my oil burners for a day or two beforehand, and then mix 1 drop with a carrier oil to massage it into my lower abdomen on the first day. It really helps with the cramps. They've definitely been a lot better since I started using it 🙂 . I'm happy to say I no longer rely on painkillers!

Lovly oil and smells nice .. altho the smell dies off after 5 minutes and it didn’t work for the purpose I bought it
