Excellent quality
Excellent, but I would like to make some comments on the maps. I compared the 16th edition with the 15th edition and found them 99% identical. I wish that the publishers had waited until there were more changes. The editors note some internal administrative changes; for me the most interesting (not mentioned) was Norway. I felt that there was excessive duplication of maps. For example Victoria appears on Plate 6 on a scale of 1 in 15m, plate 8 1 in 9m, plate 9 1 in 5m, plate 10 1 in 2.5 m. I would like to see certain areas on a larger scale eg northern Algeria, Hispaniola. Is it possible to identify high speed railway lines, for instance in China.? The maps of seas show only depths but they increasingly have detail in the form of oilfields and windfarms which might be shown on maps. I have never found a map of the surroundings of Sydney on a scale of 1 in 1m.. This would be more interesting than a street plan of the city centre.

Comprehensive World Atlas.
Excellent in all respects. A superb Atlas. It is so comprehensive that it reveals great statistics as well as maps. Lay it on a flat table, it’s quite heavy, but a joy to study. Highly Recommended.

Best story time book
Yes, you read that right. I use it, and will continue to, with my 3 year old g/daughter showing countries and places I've travelled to She's fascinated.
