Very good for an energy boost since my body's energy comes from ketones.. BUT BEWARE.. many confuse having a high ketone reading to being 'in ketosis'. That is NOT FACT, you are getting a high reading because you just put a ton of ketones in your body. You are using the 'added ketones' not your natural ones produced by burning fat. Once you use up or pass the exogenous added ketones you body will go back to your initial reading. Getting a high reading after taking ketones DOES NOT mean you are in fat burning mode and you will quickly lose that reading. Use these for energy boosts for workouts etc. Don't fool yourself into thinking you are burning fat.

Maybe it's just me. I'm transitioning from low-carb to carnivore diet, and on day 3, I woke up with tachycardia. 6 hours later, it's still there. Yes, I've taken 4.5 (so far) portions of Shift drink over 3 days. It tastes great. I'll keep using it. Hope my heart drops back to my normal 70 pretty soon. 75 years old and in good health. I'm keeping my husband company while he (hopefully) cures his congestive heart failure. We're hopeful.

At its peak, I love this product! I have it on Subscribe and Save, but unfortunately, Im going to look elsewhere because of the inconsistent quality. The last two bags have contained multiple servings that are hard as a rock (think jolly rancher), and totally unusable.They are also sticky on the outside , so I dont want to throw it in my purse. They are too expensive to be throwing multiple servings away.

If you are intermittent fasting and you've hit a wall and your body is in starvation mode and hanging onto every pound, like what was happening to me then this is the answer. I could not get under 200 after losing 130 over 2 years . I've been drinking this once a day for only 5 days and I'm down 6 lbs. I'm on a 20/4 fast. Currently at 197, this stuff is amazing. Shift makes a product that really does kick start your keto numbers. I wanted to get into ketosis fast and I drank this for 3 days during my fast. I was in ketosis after the 3rd day versus taking close to week or more. However, it was really hard for me to drink at first. It has a really strong artificial flavor and the stevia sweetner just is overly sweet. However, after the second day, I diluted it with more water (16oz vs 10oz recommendation), it was easier to drink and I kept it like that. The powder mixes well in water and dissolves almost instantly. I love that there's a variety of flavors because I couldn't tolerate the black cherry flavor, but the lemonade flavor was much better to my liking. Overall, it does what it says, but only 4 stars because of the artificial flavoring.
