I have been wanting to get into filming my hunts for awhile now, so I finally pulled the trigger on this mount.As Is:1) Love the small profile of it! No bulk and in the way like typical gopro mounts you see2) Inexpensive cost-there is a ton of value here for the low price in that it is sturdy and lightJust from that, it is more than worth the price.BUTI did a little customization to make it better!First, I will only ever be using a GoPro camera, so I took the screw out for the video camera as to not have something pointy, shiny, and unused on the mount. Easy to remove by prying out a tiny snap ring.Second, I cut off the picatinny rail that's on top of where it attaches to your crossbow or firearm rail because I hated the fact that it would not fit underneath my scope. There was no way I wanted higher rings. I did this with ease by using a vice and Milwaukee Hackzall. After, I sanded the surface to remove burs and sharp edges and got it as smooth, flat, and straight as possible. Then I simply repainted it.Eureka, brand new customized mount, now smaller, lighter in design and just as sturdy

I popped this mount on my Tavor TS12 with zero issue. I like the offset that even with my very large phone does not get in the way of my optic AT ALL! You can even mount a camera on the bottom simultaneously with the provided screw.

For those of you who play airsoft and wish to record it without it affecting your game play this is a very good product. It’s simple and stable so you don’t have to worry about it falling off mid game. It is simple to attach a detached. With a GoPro mounted on your weapon with this mount you can start and stop recording quickly and efficiently. This mount is perfect for all those who wish to record airsoft game play from a weapon barrel point of view. For those of you who are filmmakers this mount offers a unique angle for any action film that uses military weapons. I plan to use this mount for a Counter Strike short film that I am producing. All in all this mount is a very useful tool to have for filmmakers, airsoft players, or GoPro documenters. As long as you have a weapon with a basic slider mount you’ll find a use for it.

So far it’s good , my iPhone 8 Plus fit just fine, very tight. Only down side is it’s spring loaded so hard to fit the phone in. Will update down the road , but for now it looks good

very well built mount. Solid aluminum mount. Well machined. Tensioning screw is all aluminum also. used it to attach my action camera to my crossbow. The camera feels like it is not going to move around after it is locked down. The 1/4 20 screw is held in with a retaining washer and an Allen wrench is provided.The camera tips slightly when the tension screw is tightened. Hoping I can slip a washer or something thin in the camera mount slots to correct the issue. Looks like the slots might be just a little wide for my camera. The last 2 pictures show the mount on my crossbow and you can see how the camera leans to the left when tightened.Don't like the way the screws tighten from both sides. understand it was done due to the room between the two screws, but if one side had been machined an allen wrench would work to tighten the mount on the rail. as it is, you have to tighten from both sides.Bottom line, I would recommend this and will probably get another.

This is sturdy, holds the camera nice and tight and still. It takes a beating more than the plastic camera bracket that it mounts to. Very useful for chasing feral hogs. I would give it 4.5 stars, if I could, just because practicality isn't perfect. It sticks out, which means you'll want to remove it every time you store your gun in a case. It is easy to remove the camera, obviously, but that still leaves the adapter sticking out. A QD would be all that could make it better. I do say that the mount it has is solid and not too difficult to remove.

If your a youtuber or avid user of a camera this mount is the must have! I've got the chance to run this camera mount at my home field Milsim City in Utah and it rocked! The whole mount is full metal no plastic or polymer. Came with hex tools. Super light weight. It stretches out enough to get a wide view of the user and front face. I used my Go Pro Session 4 and Ion Air Pro. Check out my pictures to see how the viewing looks. My favorite thing about this is the receiving end of the GoPro connection. Instead of having a basic screw and nut for the receiving end the mount its self is threaded and any standard screw for gor pros works with the threaded end. Amazing idea and less things to worry about when switch camera around. Love the extra rail space given with the mount it will allow me to attach a run cam or a mobius or zoom cam on. I will be posting a video of the game shortly and a full on video review on this mount. I used it with my HPA Set up for airsoft and will be using it shortly on my real steel Ruger 5.56 and paintball set up. Trust me buy it and you will never go back to any other.- Thomas K

its bulky and kind of in the way but even more important even after the screws were loctited on it still managed to fall off its almost like the grove for the mount isnt deep enough
