A good and reasonably priced compost bin.
Very happy with this purchase. Was quite easy to put together after looking at the picture. I used a couple of pieces of card as a spacer for the sides and it looks as good as advertised. Would buy again.

I'm pleased with the product and I think it will be ...
I'm pleased with the product and I think it will be very useful. BUT as per other reviews - several corners were broken, or broke off during assembly. Also, even though we followed the instructions given ie: using a slat as a spacer, the bin ended up with larger gaps between the slats & taller than are shown in your photo - not in itself a problem, but the side uprights provided were then too short, so the top slat is not secured to anything. I haven't worked out what to do about this yet - not being very DIY minded! It would be useful to add to the instructions that you need to ensure the 45 degree slat cuts must face the right way up - I know this seems obvious, but I managed to insert one the wrong way up - at the bottom of course (!!) & had to dismantle & start again. The only other quibble is that the very flimsy bag that the screws came in was broken, so the screws had to be found between all the slats when unpacking. In conclusion - lots of potential - but please sort out these problems - as my daughter was impressed & may order one......

As cheap as the price would indicate...
I was horrified at the cost of some compost bins, so I went for this cheaper option (it was practically half the price it is now when I bought it a few weeks ago). It is made from really rather poor quality wood, lots of the corners next to cut grooves are breaking or broken, but it has gone together ok. I nearly threw the screws away with the wrapping, they are not obvious when unpacking. As for assembly, there is a link on the product listing page supposedly for instructions, but when you click on that you get a PDF explaining the assembly of a big wind-out sun awning... I could not find them anywhere else on the net. Luckily, another thoughtful reviewer included not only pictures of their bin, but also pictures of the instructions. It's pretty simple, but you still need a nudge in the right direction to get started.I suspect it will only last a couple of years, I just can't see the wood lasting... We shall see.

Good for the money
Arrived promptly with all the parts, nothing broken and easy to put together, I had all 3 built within an hour on my own, my only observation would be that the 2 side struts that are screwed onto the bin could do with being a few inches longer.I constructed a rain cover for mine using some thick plastic that I stapled to a few wooden buttons and stapled to the back of the compost bin and the cover just slides across the top.

Don't bother!!!
An absolute waste of money. Came a few days earlier than was informed so thank goodness I was at home as the product was so heavy I couldnt of got it home from a neighbour! Compost bins are usually so easy and straight forward and can be put together in 20 mins. This took me just over an hour!!! It came with no instructions what so ever & so I had to use the grainy photo on line to copy it. It is going in a tight corner so needed to be put together there but once put up all the slats are at a slant coming forward and it needs to be put on its side to have a baton screw them individually in place on each side. Such a long winded way of going about it, it could of been designed so much more easier.Plus the slats are a lot wider apart than in the product photo so I am going to get some cheap wood to stand inside the back and 2 sides as it is going to get very messy with the spillage out the sides but I desperately needed a number 2 compost bin now for the winter so I will be buying a much better one next spring.

Good bins
I bought 3 of these to replace old rotten 10 year old compost bins. Assembly is OK as long as you follow the instructions - with some online guides to help if needed. And they look better than some other options. They should last another 10 years.

Nice idea
Bought three of them. Arrived promptly. Whoever delivered them took a chunk out of the rendering on my porch. One of the packs had burst open with planks and screws everywhere. When I came to assemble them many planks were covered in black and green mold. Most were saturated with water (can't have been stored under shelter) many of the notches for interlocking had broken off. One of the slats was so sodden it fell in half when I picked it up. However they are all assembled now, I guess I'm only ever going to put garden waste in them so as long as they dry out I'll put up with them as it would be even more of a ball ache to dismantle them and organise a refund and then have to look again. If your looking for hassle free then keep looking. If you're not to fussy and a bit handy then maybe take a punt. Ultimately there for holding rotten leaves and are cheap. Others are more than double the price. I'll put up with them but if it were a product I was selling commercially I'd be ashamed of myself.

Good composter for the price. Some minor issues, but nothing unexpected. A good buy and I plan on getting two more.
I found this ones to be well made and is so far working a treat. I was very hesitant when I read the other reviews, and they're not wrong on a number of points The side boards are just a little too short and you only get two. I think it needs 4 and put them on from stuff I had lying around. I used the slats as spacers when I put it together and had no problem, but having read the reviews I made sure to keep them just at the front between the side slats so they were easy to pop out. There were some broken pieces at the ends here and there, but nothing that I wouldn't expect being shipped as they were. I didn't find them wet, but many have. I think it's a great size for a small-medium sized garden and plan on getting two more when I clear the space. The front boards are easy to slot in and out (though I haven't needed to yet).Overall, I would and intend on buying another. As I said, two more.
