Just the tool for when you need to feed cable
Works as expected and looks robust enough for a long life. Just need to take care when using as it can unravel untidily if you are not paying attention!

snags on conduit joints
the problem is that the end have hard sharp corner so it snags on every bend in the ducting in both directions. I gave up using it as having managed to get it some way along the conduit I couldn't make It go any further and then I struggled to get it back out. the corners needs to be rounded so they do not catch on the conduit joints. just deciding whether to return for a different one.the problem lays with conduit I am using, a cheap Wickes own brand which has proud edges. however, MCD have kindly honoured the return which is appreciated. for better quality BS conduits the issue of catching on the edges may not exist.overall its a good quality product and apart from the snagging would have been greatthe help and advice from MCD has been first class and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again

Excellent value for money & good delivery
Works well; used in conduit with close bends & with perseverance got through. Don't allow it to unwind fully, reel of what you need & clip round remainder. Excellent value for money & good delivery.

this has proven its worth in my recent wiring from the house to the garage, i would have struggled without it. Its a very good buy

Broke Instantly!
I purchased this as a bit of an emergency as needed it for a job the following day. When I came to use it, it almost instantly broke, first the brass end came of then the brass spring end on the front came off, its a really poor quality item. I have used a lot of these in the past for pulling cable through conduit and have never had one break this easily. It seems the ends aren't correctly crimped on.

Arrived damaged. Poor quality
Arrived already kinked, drasticly reducing the strength of the cable. Ends are poorly crimped on. It may be cheap, but it just isn't worth it at all.
