Excellent. Just the right size and distributes the heat well
This pan is really great. It sits over the cooker ring nicely and distributes the heat well. Looking at others the holes were to big or small and one famous named one was more suited to a camp fire in dimensions. It needs sealing with oil like all cast iron but is non stick after. Will last many lifetimes. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent
This is the real thing - a cast iron ‘poffertjes’ pan. We already had one. But like with pancakes if you have hungry family waiting for the treat to be served, you better make sure you can produce the goods swiftly on an industrial scale. So I typically fry a stack of thin dutch pancakes with 4 frying pans on the hops at the same time. And now the time to create a huge pile of poffertjes has been halved from about 45 minutes. The heavy pan looks and feels exactly like the traditional one we brought over from the Netherlands and so it is indestructible and works perfectly. A recipe for poffertjes mix is included, but it is pretty straightforward and can be found online as well. It’s not a cheap pan, given that you probably won’t use it on a daily basis. But it is not more expensive than back in the Netherlands.

Well made but don't expect instant success if you're a novice...
This pan is very well made so no problems there. If, like me, you have no experience in using a pan like this it is probably going to take a few attempts to get the hang of it.It must be very well oiled or it the batter will stick badly.I use this on an induction hob which works fine but I would be very wary of using this on an open flame like gas. The lip around the edge of the pan is very shallow and if the pan is overfilled with oil or (easily done until you're used to it), I could easily see accidents happening.Instructions for first time users (heat settings and amount of oil or grease per compartment) could be much better. When you get used to it, I am sure this pan will give many years of good service and results. For the English, this must be a great method of making mini Yorkshire Puddings on the stove top.

My new favourite pan
I bought this a few days ago. I'm not sure whether I needed to season it, but I did anyway to be on the safe side. I remember having these delicious pancakes at the Edinburgh Christmas market and loved them. Well.. I've just spent a blissful hour turning out the most gorgeous little fluffy Danish pancakes. I used a recipe just with a couple eggs and made over 50 little pancakes, with four very happy children testing them :) No issues at all with batter sticking, and a really joyful experience cooking them. This was an early Christmas present to myself. A present that will keep on giving joy to me and my loved ones. So happy with this - it's one of those forever pans. Thank you!

Works very well
Easy to clean. Nothing stuck. I seasoned pan before first use. Cooked perfectly golden on an induction hob.

Not worth your money.
Useless product . Too small . Everything keeps sticking in the moulds . Have requested a return and haven’t heard from the seller from past one week .
