Stop looking and just get this one!
Edit January 2019 -- still love this thing. Cleans easily, works perfectly. No issues. Would 100% buy this again!Edit: July 2017 -- (this is in the comments, but I wanted to put it here in case no one saw) Still love it, almost 3 years in! It's used daily, absolutely zero issues. Lights still turn on and are bright, I rarely use the strongest fan setting as the low and medium work really well. Its super easy to clean, I toss everything in the dishwasher a few times a month, wipe the top and sides clean and am good to go. I would 100% purchase this again.Edit: Feb. 23, 16 -- still loving this vent hood. After 14 months of almost daily use, I can honestly say I have zero complaints. I still only really use the lowest setting, and it works great, I've never even had to use it on high & only occasionally turn it up to medium. It is super easy to clean, we just toss the grates into the dishwasher, and its good to go. Very very happy with this purchase.Original review: Installed this when we remodeled the kitchen. Looks gorgeous with our other stainless appliances. We took out a dumb microwave to put this in. We had to run the ducting ourselves in order for it to vent outside, but that was a simple DIY project for us. After that was done, it only took us about 10 minutes to hang it. If you have a hood in place and are just swapping it out, it will take you no time at all to install this one. You'll need two people, or a way to keep it in place while you screw it in, but otherwise its simple. We looked at a few range hoods, but ultimately went with this one because we wanted a higher-quality hood without having to spend a bazillion dollars, and this one fit the bill. It was a little more than I originally wanted to spend, but now that we have it I am glad this is the one we purchased. It just looks lovely, works perfectly and is easy-peasy to clean! I also really like that it is designed, engineered and assembled in the US!I am really impressed with how quiet it is, yet how much air it pulls even on the lowest setting. I use the lowest setting most of the time and its perfect. If you've got mad kitchen skills and are making fancy meals, you will probably more appreciate the mid and high settings. The lighting is nice too, seems to light up the entire stove top evenly. I have no complaints.Overall, I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. Its one of those things that truly seems to be worth what it costs.

High Quality Hood that Performs (even for frequent/daily Asian cooking)
Very high-quality hood. Basically a PRO-LINE for about 1/2 the price. I have had it for 5 mos now. We're a packed Asian family, so we cook ALL the time and 3 times a day. And our food stinks (well actually it's quite good just stinks to cook). I have used and replaced the venthood in our old home w/ a big box store product (their top of the line) and it was not nearly as effective as this hood. The 900 CFM allows me to use a WOK inside the house and not smell like dinner for the next couple of weeks. You do have to crack a window open given the high air volume being removed from the inside of the house (else you can backdraft your furnace's CO2... not good). Haven't gotten around to installing a makeup air system yet.Install was fairly easy for me, but I have all the tools and a lot of experience doing house repairs.1. Small jack to lift the thing up and hold it in place2. 12 inch extension w/ a power drill w/ LED lights to mount it3. 3/4 plywood scraps (3/4 x 2in x 10in) to level out the bottom of the cabinetDO NOT use duct reducers. Basically limiting the effectiveness of the unit and not getting the max 900 CFM (which is why you would buy this in the first place). Relatively quieter than most other vents. Very easy to clean and keep clean (I use my power washer to clean the fans and grills).

Broke in under 6 months. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY
I purchased this back in July and now in December the exhaust fans stopped working. This is not a high quality hood. DO NOT BUY! And the company does not replace the product.

Works as promised. Great quality
Wow, this really works as claimed. We hardly ever take it to the max setting but it will clean out cooking smells in a hurry, if you do. The low setting works for 88% of daily use, and it is so quiet that you could leave it on without too much noise. You need two people to mount it, even with a lift-jack or third-hand. Heavy, high-quality and very easy to clean. We like that we can take out the baffles and wash them in soapy water. The LED lights are a real plus, lighting the cooking surface very well. Great instructions. However, I would not use their supplied mounting screws, instead spend a few bucks and buy machine screws and heavy washers to mount it with confidence. Looks professional, I only wish they sold it in Black SS. A very good product.

Good Range hood
The design seems well conceived and it is very well made. It has a sleek appearance, which we like a lot. I rated the noise level a 4 but that is maybe unfair since it does really have power and that cannot be achieved silently. I knocked overall rating down one notch but it should probably be by only .5 for the little LED lights. They seem a little weak. Overall, this range hood is excellent, looks great, and works superbly well. We're quite pleased with it.

Worth every penny!
After 3-4 days of use the left motor started to give a grinding noise.. I contacted the manufacturer directly, they offered me two options, send back the range hood and the send a new one, or they send me a motor and I can replace it myself. I chose the second option as I didn't want to uninstall the rangehood, was not easy to install(because of the shape of my cabinet not because of the range hood). They sent me a replacement motor and I was able to switch it in 30-40 mins... was not too bad. I they also refunded $30 because of this.Apart from this experience this is a very good range hood, worth every penny. I would say its pretty quite even on max level. Much more quite than a regular over the range microwave.... The suction power is incredible(make sure you use 8" ductwork). Pan-searing steaks, burning oil is not a problem anymore, great device! Only one thing that I could recommend is replace the screws that they send with hexhead screws. I was not able to use the screws that they sent not even with pre-drilled holes... so I has decided to replace those with hexhead screws... I recommend to do they same if your cabinet is from a hard wood.
