Macallen Professional Modelling Balloons - 260q Pack of 100

Being new to the world of "twisting", I really had no idea what to look for, so made my purchase decision based on colours, price vs quantity and what other buyers had said. With all that in mind, these lovely balloons have not disappointed.The colours are bright and cheerful, though there's less purple and brown - and no grey or white - balloons, and only one shade of blue. However, for amateurs making balloon swords for kids on a pirate walk like me, they're just fine in terms of selection; all the major bases are covered, and in plentiful quantity.A friend and I gave twisting a shot in a cafe (hilarious - recommend that!) with some youtube tutorials, and found these balloons easy to work with once we got over the initial "IT'S GOING TO POP!" which I think everyone goes through. I think it says more about the quality of the balloons than our impressive skills that, out of 10 balloons that we used, only a single one popped. That balloon split along its edge into a single piece that was easy enough to retrieve (in case people are worried about bits flying about or children being in the line of fire!).Three days on, and the balloon swords we made that day are still looking good, though they've gone a bit soft. I'm quite impressed at how well the models have retained their shape.All in all, very pleased with these - and with the new skill they're encouraging and the hilarity and delight that practising it in public places causes. :)

Lost some when blown too big but only a few . Well worth the money and a few casualties to be expected as my daughter is nine and unfamiliar with the task she was able to use you tube sbd the set to master 6 different balloons in a few hours

Was sent a poor quality, smaller when inflated, product. Not happy this has happened because I've used this company on several occasions.Will be returning and looking elsewhere

Almost every balloon I have taken out the packet either already has holes in it or bursts/deflated instantly. Waste of my money and time

I bought these balloons for some family fun with balloon modelling at Christmas and they did the job brilliantly!The balloons came in a variety of vibrant colours: black, orange, blue, white, pink, green and blue.They were pumped up using a normal small hand balloon pump which worked perfectly fine. Also once pumped up they kept their shape and did not deflate. You NEED a pump of some sort to inflate the balloons - you cannot blow them up with your mouth!!The balloons were of very good quality- they rarely popped when tying and twisting them into various shapes and they did not have a strong chemical smell associated with balloons. The texture of the balloons was perfectly adequate - not sticky or slimy!All in all I am very happy with the product and it was very good value for money. The cheapest price I could find online included other bidding websites.Obviously I am not a professional balloon modeller so I cannot rate them on that perspective but to me they seemed perfect.The item arrived very fast in good time and packaged well.

Colours completely different from photo. No purple and the red comes out pink when inflated.Ok for messing around with but the quality is far from suitable for modeling balloons.

The balloons are not as large as I expected but work out really well with the 0 to 5 age group. The proportions of the balloons worked well with the children's height. The balloons are harder to blow up so you will need a pump. The quality of the balloon itself is very good and they have not been mean with the latex. The balloons also proved very useful for embellishments and and-ons to hats and other models that need it. In fact I ordered several more bags and I believe that they are well worth purchasing.No black-no white balloons SHAME.Jimmy James Magician
