Bambino Mio, Mioboost Classic Flat Nappy Insert to Maximise Absorbency, White, 3 (Pack of 1)OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100

I'm so happy I bought these! Fantastic boosters! I use them with the bambino mio 2-piece nappy at night time and my son almost never has a leak in the morning. Wash and Wear well and the stay dry top layer is amazing, you can feel the difference when they come out the washing machine the bottom part is wet the the stay dry top layer really does feel quite dry to the touch which contributes to baby's comfort though the night.

Bought to use at night in addition to bambino mio nappies, as baby sleeps through and the nappy pad on it's own was not absorbent enough for 12 hours. They have turned out to be a fantastic buy. Absorbant enough with the nappy to leave baby all night without leaks or soreness. They wash well and dry pretty quickly - we have the pack of 3 and just wash every 3 days with the rest of nappies. A little on the bulky side but as baby is asleep and not moving around it doesn't really matter. Overall I would thoroughly recommend the whole bambino mio nappy system.

I’m a fan of the bambino mio range, having used them with my daughter for the last 8 months. These boosters are perfect to add extra absorbency to the nappy pads. Easy to use, great quality, washes well and soaks up liquid quickly. I would definitely recommend.

Took a while to get the hang of using these nappies especially when my baby was small but works well now. Absorbent and hasn't leaked (when using the matching wraps) since my baby reached 12lbs. Easy to wash and dry and fabric is very soft.However - a few cons.If poo gets at all dry on the nappy it stains seemingly permanently, resistant to nappisan soaks. This means the nappies have unsightly yellow stains on them. Poo needs to be washed off straight away or nappy put into soak while poo is wet.Baby's skin feels wet when her nappy is changed, as this nappy won't take moisture away, it just soaks up poo and wee and is like a thick wet cloth next to the skin. This means she's more likely to get a rash.Also, the nappy is very wide and bulky in between her legs. It does crumple up a bit as she wears it but I'm not sure how comfortable it is for her to wear.You can use liners or boosters but I haven't needed to. We don't use these nappies overnight as they wouldn't cope with the volume of baby pee, and with a booster would be super bulky, so we just use these in the day and a disposable overnight. I don't think these are the perfect washable nappy but we will use them for now, and I prefer them to some all in one nappies I've tried.

They need several washes to achieve optimal absorbance

These boosters are fine. They do the job but I find I get compression leaks with these more than with the bamboo boosters.

We have been using the all in one nappies with these mioboosts for the past 9+ months. We just bought a few boosts to start with but once we found how easy it was to use with the all in ones, we bought even more.I use a boost in all my sons nappies as it means we can go longer without changing and also means he can go through the night without any leaks.Warning there may be graphic pooh talk that may be unsettling to some readers... Before my son was on solids he would have horrific poohs that would explode everywhere (when using normal throw away nappies) meaning he was covered head to toe in pooh and nappies changes were a horribly messy affair. :( When we started using the all in ones with the boosts it was a complete game changer- the pooh actually stayed in the nappies rather than leaking down his legs and up his back.Remember to follow the washing instructions. I leave the boost in the nappies and then put them in several wash bags for a rinse cycle if they’ve been waiting a while to be washed and then wash them with nonbio laundry liquid & the bambino Mio powder.If you are going to get the all in one nappies I would recommend getting these so that you don’t have to change as often which will save your back as well as your laundry load!! ;)The downside is that they can make the the nappies look bulky and I even had people accuse my baby of having a fat bum.

I haven’t been able to use these yet as baby is still on the way, but I have washed them and dried them and they held up well. I will update my review once used, but I can comment that the quality is very good when compared to some other boosters I purchased that already seem to have frayed slightly. They are very thick, though, so will make a nappy quite robust. Just keep that in mind if you have a little babe!
