Consistent good quality
Have used before, from a different supplier. Delivery (by UPS) was excellent, to front porch via a steep set of steps (was expecting to be left at kerb side).Tablets are clean (not always the case with some other makes) and in a robust pliable bag which is thick enough not to puncture and leave salt all over the place.

That it’s nearly doubled in price
These salt tablets are being used in the water softener within my dishwasher as softened water is better for the dishwasher mechanism less likely to have scaling problems, and no calcium buildup on glasses. The salt price has nearly doubled for my next order

The way soft water is produced is by removing the hardness minerals. Simply adding salt to hard water will just produce hard, salty water. These use a natural food grade phosphate and are not the same thing. Also, do not allow artificially softened water into the heating side of the boiler.
