My Honeybuns newest to! He really likes it! I guess I ordered the right hatchet 🪓! Yay! Great for the smaller jobs around the house, like chopping up kindling or branches. Wood handle is comfortable, but when y’all sweat it gets slippery. Otherwise it’s great quality and a terrific value! Holds an edge with good balance. Easy to use and performs as well as the person using it (Honeybuns, great! Me not so much!). Just try to keep y’all’s hands dry or wear gloves, the only complaint we have! Highly recommended! Update: The customer service is amazing! They reached out and replaced the hand ax, and the new one is great. I cannot wait to use it my next camping trip.The blade is not in line with the handle (offset/crooked) and it has multiple chips in the cutting edge.Other than that it feels like a sturdy hand ax and seemed very sharp. Just not comfortable using it with how out of line the axe blade is to the handle, I feel like its a good way to get hurt by a mis-strike.

The size and shape is fantastic for limbing and doing small tasks. The handle is a little thick but fine for me. You could work it and make smaller if needed. The handle is lined up perfectly with the hatchet blade. The only thing I look for which really does not matter on a small tool is the orientation of the grain of the handle. It is at its strongest when running parallel to the blade. This one is not but again, it’s a personal thing.Looking at stock photos, the so called forge marks are identical to mine. I really doubt it is hand forged, but I was happy enough to order more for gifts if that says something. Well worth the price in my opinion.

The wood handle is beautifully made! Very impressed , probably buy a second one for my cabin.

Pretty cheap made hatchet. Broke after 2 days of use chopping fire wood.

Very difficult to sharpen. Looks good but not very sharp and hard to get sharper

It's size, I use it to cut kindling for our wood stove. I can't use the bigger ones. My husband ordered it for me.
