This is a great substitute for coffee. I love it!I purchased my first bag at the end of February and just now I got my second one. I use one tablespoon for 14 oz of water and it is quite strong, so I add soy milk to it. This allows me to have about 3 cups a day.I have not tried other brands so I cannot make a comparison, but I feel that Anthony's Organic Roasted Chicory Root Granules, 1 lb, Gluten Free, Non GMO, Caffeine Free, Keto Friendly is great in quality.It doesn't give me heartburn like coffee and there are quite a few potential benefits to drinking Chicory root coffee.It is rich in inulin and antioxidants, and studies have also shown that it may have anti-inflammatory properties. It is traditionally used to support liver function.I highly recommend it.

It tastes better than coffee. No kidding!!..easy to dispens into a coffee pod & then brew..Also, has many health benefits

This is excellent chicory for Coffee. I recently started cutting down on my caffeine intake and this is an excellent way to go 50% coffee and 50% chicory. I will keep ordering!!!

This is my first experience with chicory. I recently learned that my chronic stomach pain was due to an acquired sensitivity to coffee, so began searching for substitutes. This one is very tasty, for what it is. The "four stars" isn't because the quality isn't there, but as a substitute, it's definitely more work to make, and the flavor's not as complex as coffee. But I still like it as an alternative, and will most likely buy it again.

The media could not be loaded. I was a HEAVY coffee drinker, this make me cut off coffee 100% I drink coffee with milk and sometimes I add cinnamon, this taste “EXACTLY” the “SAME” with the same mix, it was strong flavor with the mix on the package but I cut the Chicory amount in half and “Bam”. My anxiety has go down drastically I recommend this to any one that wants or need to cut down caffeine but need the flavor fix!!!

I have tried two other brands and like them but wanted an organic option. I have tried Anthony's other products and have been satisfied but this one I am very disappointed. It taste like a cup full of cork. It almost tastes like it has been sitting on the shelf way too long. Either way I will not be re-buying. It kind of stinks that I cannot return it but you live and you learn.

It’s not instant. You have to put it in a coffee maker. I did not realize that.
