Umbra Mappit Wall Decor Titanium

Looking at other reviews, I thought it may be too small. Looking at it in person, I think it’s pretty perfectly sized without being overbearing. Like others have said, it’s more of a dark grey which was fine by me. It was easy and fun to install on my own. Also, I like how it hovers above the wall a bit and casts a shadow. It’s as if the continents are floating and the wall is the ocean :))

We did travel themed decor in our living room to highlight the cool places we've been and this is by far one of my favorite items. It's a good size, is made with good quality, and was very easy to apply. It's definitely noticed by family and friends when they come over, as it's pretty unique. Love, love, love it!

Mappit is A great value and quality product. Installed above conference table in my office. There have been so many comments about how awesome it looks. I recommend and know you will be pleased with the product in your home or office space.

Arrived with a few smudges that we were not able to remove. Luckily you can only see them if you’re looking for them or are up close. I like it overall, but wish it was a little bigger.

I’ll start off with its a but smaller then on pictures. However it is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that was not up against the wall but had a space between, this wall art did just that. This is a metal construction which i was surprised by. Overall great wall art for the money.Btw please include the drill bit size for others in the instructions, very simple to write it in the little instructions that you have.

The instructions called for 5 wall anchors. This is a small item, and even with pictures, it would not be very heavy.I had very little experience when I hung this, however, so I took a huge amount of time (because I have no drill) to install the anchors then the screws.If I could do it over, I’d skip that step. Love the piece though! It’s a little smaller than I thought, so check the dimensions before ordering!

As others have stated, it is not black - more of a dark gray. The template works very well. Use a 1/4 inch drill bit for the drywall anchors provided. The mounting instructions say "insert screws into plugs leaving a 0.2 inch space". I get what they are trying to say, but it wasn't written by a native english speaker. Otherwise no complaints. We were going to put many of our collected refrigerator magnets on this map, but turns out to be a little small for that - the Italy magnet covered all of Europe..... So we are getting creative with the magnets that came with it.

The product itself is well made. It is made out of metal, or at least coated in metal, and feel premium. An important note: the color of the map is gray, rather than black like the product pictures make it appear. This was not an issue for me, but if you're attempting to color-coordinate, be aware of this.Putting up the product wasn't the easiest experience, as the plastic protecting the adhesives were difficult to remove. The included paper map template was helpful in arranging the parts of the map, but for exact placement, another pair of hands are needed. Unfortunately, the adhesives were not the strongest, as the Eurasia section of the map fell off my concrete dorm wall after only a week. Similarly, after a month, it doesn't seem like the North America section is holding up well and is slanting on the wall.
