Love it
Due to the wired connection only, configuration was a bit of a headache. Outside of this print quality is amazing, speed is blazing fast.It lacks: Double-sided printing, which I didn't realize while purchasing it. Not an issue because you can manually perform the action. Just takes a bit of trial and error to get it right.

Fast, and Reliable
I have always used HP printers over the years despite the high cost of toner cartridges. I donated an old HP laser printer and replaced it with this one. The old one was hit or miss on print commands, but this one has worked quickly, seamlessly, and consistently with my current operating system of Windows 10. I like the bottom drawer feed, and the envelope feed for printing envelopes with address's, making them easy to read. Before it was plug and pray, but now it's plug and play. Competitively price compared to other brick and mortar office supply stores.

Easy Plug & Play
Trying to find a wireless printer, old school, plug and play was painful! This printer was the perfect find. Easy to use. Plug and play. Prints all, pretty fast. Just need to buy a printer cord, none included. Toners crazy expensive....but that's how is goes. This printer worked perfectly, out of the box and ready to add and use!

Ink/Toner Replacement
The printer it self is fast and the print quality is very good. However, The first toner cartridge is nearing replacement. I just found out that HP considers it a business printer. It is not eligible for their Instant Ink program. Instead, they offered me an All in One program, which requires the purchase of a new printer. HP makes quality equipment, but its consumer support is sometimes frustrating.

Only worked for 15 months
Worked ok at first. Printed fast, but the toner smudged. Had to reduce the pages per minute to fix that issue. Now after 15 months of moderate usage, the paper only feeds halfway into the printer and then stops... I'm switching to Brother printers

Great printer
Great printer, doesn't jam, clear printing. Very easy to set up. Does not do 2 sided printing Good value. We print high volume in our household. Recommend highly.

Works for Mac. Not ideal, but better than others.
First, let me start by saying I am a long-term HP Laser printer user 30+ years. This printer replaced a workhorse printer (last of its kind) that was HP. These new computers well are alot to be desired. Still better than Brother's printers. As I tried that and the quality in the print is so subpar to HP. With that being said HP is not what it use to be. Now, to be fair I am on Apple/Mac (always have been). HP doesn't have a printer driver for this HP. You have to download an application and even then it would not recognize the printer so had to enter in the IP address. Talked to HP on the phone and they admit that they are in the process of working on a driver. Why is the driver important well for my line of work when I select a printer it needs to adjusted for printer margins equal .25 on all sides etc. Well, currently you can't do that. I have to print via a IP Address and it is a generic driver so the margins are off and not centered, etc.. not good in my line of work. On top of all this you cannot plug this into a APC (battery backup). Why? makes no sense to me but every time you print there will be a loud very loud beep from the APC. Only with this printer. I researched it and several people had the same issue. So, you have to plug it in a surge protector not connected in any way to a APC (battery backup). Not a deal breaker. I would say the greatest frustration is having the printer not recognize by its own app to connect. It knows the printer model it says it, but it won't connect and you have to literally type in the IP Address that shows on the printer itself (after you print a report) to actually make it work when on Mac. TIP: Purchase a toner when you buy this. Back in the day you could print quite a few pages with the initial toner, but with this printer literally it is like 20 pages before you get the need to replace toner. It takes a long time to go into the menu and shutoff everything you do not want, but it can be done. I did it. I do not use the app to print, but I can print from iphone and ipad and computer. I haven't tried to manual feed (scared to LOL) but for a functional printer this works. Will it last like years past only time will tell. If it doesn't or if I have major issues I will be back here to update.
