Hardbite Parsnip Chips, 5.2 oz

Just what I have been looking for.

WOW! I was not expecting to love these THIS much. My nutritionist suggested a 'beet chip' and I ran into finding these on Amazon and so glad I did! I am seriously replacing my tortilla chips with these. They are wonderful for dipping and have a slight sweetness. Was hard not to eat the whole bag in one sitting. Worth the price of healthy snacking I think. It took my salty crunchy craving away.

Will never be as good as potato chips....wish they were a little more savory, as the parsnip is pretty sweet. Tasty, though.

My husband and I are on a low-carb diet, so these chips looked like the perfect solution for our crunch cravings. The pictures above clearly show a total of 2g of carbs per serving, or 1 net carb after deducting the fiber. Imagine our surprise when we received the package in the mail today, and the nutrition info lists 9 total carbs, not 2, for the same serving size. This definitely does not match our dietary restrictions. We’re so disappointed!

I have had other brands of chips with parsnip chips in them and loved them . So I was disappointed by these. Thy do have a nice parsnip flavor but need more salt (I am not a salt-aholic). They are also very hard/stiff to bite through. It was not an enjoyable eating experience. For the price I was expecting to love them but I would not buy again.

Like the generous portion of 25 chips as a serving size. I like that the nutrition levels are lower per serving than potato chips. Plus, I love parsnips & can't find just parsnips in any other brand! A little expensive, but it's a treat.

These are so yummy and crunchy a great alternative to regular potato chips. I would consider them gourmet chips! I wish they were in mainstream groceries.
