Buy THIS don't buy others - used on an S23 ULTRA
Firstly the reviews when you look at them are not all for the ATOM.The controller comes in a nicely presented box and looks smart. Using Turtle Beach headsets for years and having no issues I was expecting this to be very similar in reliability. It does not disapoint. The controller inside the packaging comes in a neat little branded turtle beach cloth bag. A nice touch but doesn't serve much purpose other than protection from scratches. This is a 2 part controller that charges via USB C and does not offer connectivity via hard connection - Bluetooth only. The controller packs away to an oversized wallet size little bit to big to go in a pocket but perfect to go into a backpack. The controller splits and attaches to the mobile device via a clamp in system. You will possibly struggle with any other case other than a thin silicone type. But if you don't mind dropping the device out of its case its a much better experience, it feels nice and snug once clamped in.Once connected the first part of the controller pairs with the second and works impressively well.I have tested this using the Xbox remote play and other than graphics being slightly worse (nothing to do with the ATOM) most games are very playable and enjoyable as much as if you were using the TV. It's nice to use if you fancy a quick game but don't fancy going into the room where your console is or if your out and about.

Doesn't work with Poco X6 Pro
Great concept, but the Bluetooth connection was awful on my Poco X6 Pro.My very cheap controller from China works flawlessly but its too bulky to take out with me.

A decent bit of kit
I like this little controller, it took a little getting used to, but I'm getting there with it, it's not a bad option.I'll start with the cons. They are all fairly minor:When the two halves are separated, if you want to hold them together, the magnets really aren't enough to keep them stable, but you're better clipping them on either side of your phone.I personally don't like that the right thumb stick is perfectly in line with the ABXY buttons, I would prefer the buttons to be slightly offset to the right. (I've hit B when I meant to hit A more than a few times), but that's a learning curve that I'll adapt to and anyone playing with it would. On some phones the camera unit will mean the gripping sections of the controller halves won't fit flush against the phone, but it's still pretty secure, just don't go wildly jesticulating when someone beats you on a game.As for the Pros:For the price it's very good and the controls are responsive with most of the games I've played. It's quick, simple and easy to connect to your phone and seems to have a pretty good battery so far.The lightweight and foldable design makes it very easy to carry, and it comes with a little protective drawstring bag.I like the aesthetic of the black & teal model. The ergonomic shaping of the back portions does mean it fits comfortably in the hand, though it could benefit from a little grippy silicone or scored texturing to keep it snug.I will note that for some games you need a good enough internet connection and/or a high-RAM phone (for dedicated gamers companies are already recommending 16GB RAM, most current streamed games will struggle with 4GB RAM or less); processing lag when trying to play "Rainbow Six Siege" via "Xbox Cloud Gaming" is not a fault of this controller... and let's just say I won't try it on this phone again. For the money it is a good bit of kit, worth grabbing if you're interested in phone gaming.

Does exactly what it says!
I know that some people who bought this had problems, but all I can say is that my experience of it has been excellent. It does exactly what it's supposed to. I can now use Geforce Now and Games Pass on my phone with ease. The device connected to Bluetooth in seconds and everything just worked from there. I'm using it with a Samsung S22 Ultra, which is huge, and it fits no problem. I suspect that this thing will fit almost any phone, although the little retaining lips on the front mean that unless your phone case is perfectly flush with your screen, you will probably have to take it off. This is an excellent bit of kit and a great price. One thing though, if you are going to use services such as Geforce Now, you will need strong, steady internet for an enjoyable experience...

Awesome for smart phone gaming
Have used this every day since it arrived three weeks ago, compact and lightweight with the charge lasting over 10 hours, I usually charge it daily but hasn't run out on me yet so 10 hours is the max it has been on for. I can't fault it, I used some of the games on the atom app which are great, I have been using it on an snes emulator and it's perfect for it. Simple to set up and charges quickly, I can't get call of duty mobile to work with it but this may be because I'm old and currently playing and 30 year old console and working through the Mario's is far more fun and rewarding. If you are gaming on your phone buy one. Oh it also has x box pass but I know nothing about that but it's on there.
