I just got back from my European river cruise trip and this hat was with me every day. First of all, I love how sturdy it is even through all the folding and unfolding I did during packing and taking it in and out of my crossbody bag throughout the day. The material is thick but very pliable yet holds the shape of how you want it to look while you are wearing it. This protected me from the strong Serbian and Croatian sun and the chin strap helped me from losing it to the gust of wind at the port. It gave me a just a little more touch of class instead of my baseball cap!

I've now had this hat for a year and taken it on two backpacking trips. It's a great investment. Cute, effectively blocks out the sun, and it's super durable. I've shoved it in my backpack and I fold it up to put it in my tote multiple times a day when I travel. It looks like it did when I bought it. Hand-washing works well and it dries beautifully. Highly recommend.

The smallest size available is way too big for us “pinheads!” I snugged it up, (a lot) according to directions and it came closer to the right fit. However, that made the inner black band extend below where it usually sits, so I wish they had used a band closer to the straw color so the black would not be so obvious around my ears. Looks a little weird. Still, it’s a cute hat, and the ribbon around the crown gives it a sweet, feminine touch. I folded it like instructed, and it came out of my luggage looking OK, with very little work to eliminate the light fold lines. I just dampened it lightly, smoothed it all out, flattening the brim firmly with both hands, while then letting it rest overnight in an upside-down position, the crown filled tightly with clean socks and underwear. By morning, you’d never know it had ever been folded. The brim looks bigger on me than it does on the models, but I was glad about it, as the sun in Mexico was ferocious! No sunburn anywhere from the shoulders up the whole two weeks. Great hat, just wish it came in a smaller size. We had very high winds a few days, and the chin strap was such a help. I liked being able to let the hat hang over my back when in stores, leaving me hands-free. The straw composition allows breezes blow through it, so it does not tend to make your head sweat. No doubt I will find uses for it year round, down here in south Florida. All in all, a great purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:So freakin cute 😭💕 last year my scalp got scorched in the sun so I decided this year to get this type of hat. I used to hate these because they always seemed like something my grandma would wear, but this specific one is ADORABLE I absolutely love it 🥰

I love this hat! It can be smushed but it's fairly easy to get out any bends with water and some hand-shaping. It seems cooler than the one with an open crown, which I also have (tho that one is more easily packable.) The chin strap isn't detachable either, like my other one, but so far, I've needed the use of it. And it doesn't mess up my hair as much as the open-crown one either. Covers my whole face, neck, and chest. Perfect for summer skin protection!

I needed a hat for fast delivery and purchased this one without much thought. I hadn't realized it was adjustable so that was a bonus. Plus it came with nice instructions on how to fold it up for packing for a trip. Good company.

Honestly very impressed by this hat. It does pack very well (I followed the included instructions), fits my giant head, and kept me nicely shaded during some high heat without overheating my head. 10/10 would absolutely recommend it.

This hat is very pretty but it was too large for my head. The hat fell down to my nose. Sad it doesn’t come in a small/medium.
