Large Metal Chicken Coop Upgrade Tri-Supporting Wire Mesh Chicken Run,Chicken Pen with Water-Resident and Anti-UV Cover,Duck Rabbit House Outdoor(9'W x 13'L x 6.5'H)

It was fairly easy to assemble and took around 4 hours. Probably wouldn't have taken so long but the GA heat is no joke. One issue however is some of the poles were drilled on the wrong side so a few of the nipple locks proved unusable. The door does bend a little when opening and closing, but it wouldn't take anything to run a brace across it. We ran hardware cloth along the bottom as well as boards to prevent predators from getting in, and it has worked nicely so far keeping them safe. I also built a coop on the outside and cut the chicken wire to open into the coop. The chicken wire it came with is thinner and more flimsy than what you would normally see at a feed store. Just to keep that in mind.I've had this pen for 9 months now and it is serving its purpose well. My chickens only stay in it at nighttime and free range during the day. There is a little bit of rust forming along the edges but nothing major. I actually ordered a 2nd pen of the same brand to connect the two together as my hens hatch out new babies I'll need the space and this size would only have enough room for about 6 chickens. All in all it works great and the price is nice.

Frame is pretty easy setup, not all parts were marked for assembly but with a bit of head scratching we worked it out. Placing the mesh over the frame would be simplified if the dimension from side was provided. This would allow you to layout the mesh flat on the ground, cut to length, and only need to handle a smaller piece not the entire roll. We did this and the only issue was keeping track of the tape measure through the process. Not very confident about how long the zip ties will last in the sun before they become brittle and fail. To help this I took the wire that tied the mesh roll, straightened it out and used it to”stitch” the edges together, bypassing the zip ties. The mesh/chicken wire will keep the chickens in, our garden is safe, but will not keep predators out. Raccoon and coyote will easily overpower the wire I think a determined possum will also breech. Depends on your neighborhood, after assembly you may need to add another layer of wire, we have coyotes so I will use welded wire

So far we absolutely love the size and much of the design of this chicken run. It is quite large (carport size) and easily allows 12 chickens to fly and roam around freely while also allowing space for a full size kids swing, feed dishes, climbing logs, a pool step ladder, a kiddie turtle sand box, & a large dog crate for shelter when the chicken are not in the coop. Easy to assemble. Comes with a small tarp. Decent value for $ spent. One major downside though is the pointy door latch. It is sharp and is hard to maneuver. I have caught my clothing or arm on multiple times, therefore I will be looking for a better latch and replace the one that the product can with. Other than that I love it!

Coop is nice but definitely not water resistant, the stakes aren't the greatest and we needed more zip ties but my ducks are happyAlso wish I could find where to buy another cover

This was perfect for what I was looking for. Couldn't be happier. But but but, its made in a way that could be problematic for those potentially less handy... or less patient. I gave myself a whole weekend to put it together and I enjoyed my time assembling it. Which is weird to say but it's true. It's on grass containing chickens between a 6 ft privacy fence and a permanent structure. I'm still debating on putting the tarps on but will likely do so as we roll into summer.

Frame work is easy to assemble. Will need someone to help install chicken wire on the frame but not a bad process. Very sturdy all around once fully assembled. I would buy this product again. I will say the Zip ties are a little weak had a handful break on me. The little stakes that “hold down” the chicken run are useless. I highly recommend using metal “t” fence posts and wire so the wind doesn’t blow it away.

As soon as I open the box, I took inventory of everything. Materials are good quality and every single piece was in the box. The instructions are fairly clear. You have watch out for poles that have a hole in only one end. Make sure you're putting it in the right direction. Instructions are vague on that point. I bought the 19x9 and liked it so much I ordered another in the 13x9 size. I'm using it for gardens but as a previous chicken owner, they would definitely serve the purpose for that also. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchases. Very functional, good design easy to assemble. I was able to assemble by myself in a couple of days on the largest one.

I've had this up for about 9 months now for my ducks. The frame and chicken wire are holding up great. Plan to have 2 people putting it together.Reasons I didn't give it 5 stars:Get better zip ties than the ones they come with.The tarp started shredding 3 months in. (We added more tarps)I wish the door fit tighter into the frame. The couple inches of gap allow for critters like wild birds and mice to fly and scurry right around the door edges, even though we tried our best to use the chicken wire to fill the gap.I think if a predator was hungry enough they could tear right through this. We wrapped the bottom 3 feet with tougher fencing.Otherwise you get what you pay for. It's not the most heavy duty, but it works for what we needed.
