the product is of good quality, normal salt content, no msg, same smell and taste as of real oyster sauce. darker color which also adds flavor to the food. However the packaging was poor and the sauce was leaking when received. This needs to improve.

I usually buy lee kum kee oyster sauce but it's been unavailable for sometime, so I decided to take a gamble and bought this one.Even though this is a vegetarian oyster sauce which doesn't have any actual oyster, I was surprised at how well it mimics the actual thing! It has the exact same umami aroma profile as the real thing and is virtually indistinguishable in terms of smell and appearance but it tastes like sweet soy sauce.This sauce is used mostly for the aroma, and it does the job admirably well. The glass bottle also looks really nice. I will definitely recommend it!
