Easy to install and good value for your money

I have recently added a few sockets off a ring and spired them off using one of these. It gives you the opportunity to add more than one socket. Very easy to install using a deep back box and is very cheap compared to local hardware stores. It’s a standard plug front size. Quilty is great and will not break if knocked by accident in the garage. I love the looks simple and effective

The price of this is £6.97 here which is very high for this type of switch. The price for one of these type in the DIY stores starts from £3 and goes up depending on the design, the bevelled or rounded edged ones are towards £6 or somewhere in between but this one is a bog standard basic square design which is double the price than it should be, and that’s not with a trade discount either.It’s solid enough and all works but I’ve used this in the garage as it’s too basic to use in the house.

This is a standard 13 amp fused switch, that we have used to control and isolate a bathroom fan.I had this switch to replace the existing one because the old one had quite a heavy click to it. Switching off and on every day, wasn't so good on the old switch, but this replacement is good.This switch gives a more definite click and is a lot easier to press. A good quality switch and a reasonable price.
