Not enough flux
The rods are small and there’s not enough flux in them to work for my use. I was hoping to fill small pits left behind after tig welding a large casting and when I was able to get the rod to melt all that they did was to ball up and roll away from the surface. The previous rods worked very well but those were from another company. My mistake.

a little tricky at first but practice makes well better ha!
easy as far as heat and getting started just got to back off some after a short while used it to fix crack on boat trailer before it broke completely

Couldn’t get it to work tried and tried then looked closer and noticed this isn’t flux core it’s just aluminum wire, junk. Don’t waste your money
