You can adjust it if you have too.
Works great. Came the next day. Clean the area and press firmly and rub back and forth. It took a few minutes of pressure for it to stick. Since it does not stick right away you can adjust it. Once you get it in place, press firmly and rub back and forth.

Perfect !!
It sticks real good if you first lay it straight preferably under the sun for a couple days so it loses coiled memory for ease of installation, I put it between 2 pine 2x4'S and it got straight then I thoroughly cleaned the surface on top of Ram Promaster van side door and it glued so hard It can't be easily removed, also beware it doesn't stick as good on some plastic or composite surfaces like kayak type plastic for example. Update... It lost adhesion with spring warmth and sun exposure. .
Update: Once it temps climbed into the 70s here in Seattle this spring, with the guttering receiving late afternoon sun exposure adhesion began to fail. Inch by inch I could see the tape was releasing from the side of the RV.I'm am truly sorry to all those who purchased this product after my glowing review. I honestly believed it would stay on. Alas prior reviews were correct. The double sided tape on this product fails in the warm springtime sun - even with proper surface prep, applying on a cool fall day, and pressing firmly for 30 seconds.I can only imagine this product lasting in cool climates with no sun exposure. Once the black guttering heats up, the tape securing it the surface looses adhesion. All in all a total failure. Now must carefully remove the guttering on a hot day and begin the tedious task of removing all of the sticky residue. A total waste of time and money.Once again I apologize to anyone lured into buying this terrible product due to my original glowing review.Original review: To get the best adhesion first wash the surface, use mineral spirits, then wipe with alcohol wipes to remove the mineral spirits oily residue, and wipe again with a clean lint free cloth.Place the coiled up J channel "gutter" in the sun for a half hour or so to warm it up before uncoiling. Leave it in the sun and keep respositioning until it is flat before applying.Begin applying, being sure to press firmly for 30 seconds as you go to give the adhesive time to stick firmly.Applying in hot weather and/or without proper preparation of the surface can result in poor adhesion, with the product falling off.I applied mine in low 60s temps two months ago. None has fallen off. If any section falls off I will amend this review.

A rain channel tha does as intended
I wanted a rain channel to place over my slide out on the 5th wheeler to keep rain from trying to get in the top of the slide. this channel comes rolled up and has self-adhesive tape on the back side for simple installation.Since it is shipped in a roll, I found I had to unroll it and let it sit in the sun to warm up to help it straighten out. Also it is challenging to put it on straight without the aid of a chalk line or a tape line. It is also imperative to have a clean wax free surface to insure maximum adhesion.Since it is plastic, I can't vouch for durability. I will assume it should give me 5 years of service depending how much sun exposure it gets.

Easy to use
We bought this for our RV. It was easy to put on and has no problem staying on while traveling. It works exactly as we’d hoped to keep water from flowing where we didn’t want it to go.

Disappointed
After careful surface prep, after instillation, the adhesive failed in the areas where a 90 degree bend was needed. I had to re adhere it with a 3m adhesive in those areas.

This stuff is great to help prevent leaks
I use this product around the windows, doors and lights on my rv.I place small strips over anything on the outside of my rv where water could get in and it definitely helps with everything staying dry. This stuff sticks really well and is quick and easy to install. You get a very large quantity of some good quality material, i have never had any fall off in the past when i ordered this specific brand.

Initially a great product
It went on as expected and did what it was supposed to, channeling water away from my windows. Adhesion was strong and it was flexible on a hot day. After a year, most of the pieces have cracked in several places leaving only segments of gutter. Very disappointing! I thought that PVC would last in hot/cold weather. On the upside, customer service is good and they're going to refund my money.
