Tasty and fun! Good for sushi.

Never had these before, but I've had other seaweeds in soups, salads, etc.These are fun. They come in a small packet of what I think is brine, and you put them in water for 3 minutes, rinse, then put them in colder (I used ice water literally) to crispen them up. From there you can tip them in the sauce of your choosing as they don't have more than a hint of seaweed/sea flavour. (I rinsed them 3 times, so maybe I washed out the brine completely...oops?)If you've ever see a video of river/clawless otter going to down on seafood, this was me. I was all about the fun mouth feel. I have never had it fresh, so I can't compare it to that, but it was definitely still popping in my mouth with a pleasant, cathartic sort of popping edible bubblewrap sort of way.It came with 2 packets of kewpie seasame dressing, and I can put that stuff on anything like a Frank's Hot Sauce commercial. It was good.No complaints. No saltiness complaints. No unclean/rancid water taste. Just tasted like seaweed. Smelled like the ocean.

It smells very strongly of that ocean/sea/beach shore smell of seaweed, the taste is kinda salty but it is very satisfying to eat.

When I first received this order, I noticed it smelled a little more fishy than the first order. (I had no issues with smell for the first order). 2 months later and this second order of sea grapes smell like an overused porta potty if it had been sitting in the Texas heat for a month.I don't see any mold, but I won't be ordering this anymore. I just noticed the inside of the box was COVERED in mold. I completely inspect the box when I first got it.

I got these to try since I never had them before and I did not care for them. The quality and freshness are good. They tasted like you just licked the bottom of the ocean. The sauce helps cover the flavor but not by much. If you do enjoy the taste of the ocean then this is the perfect product for you.

I absolutely loved these. Also my daughter really enjoyed watching them puff up . Placing them in a bowl with ice water seemed to work best , added crispness that we enjoyed . My family ate all the packs fairly quickly as a snack here and there . Totally worth a try !

Super attractive concept, I was really excited for these. Must admit however, they taste like the oceans foot. Tried different ways to make them bearable but it was not possible for me personally.
