Measure twice Cut once
Add extra inches to your measurements. I had to do it twice and was still a tight fit. Best if the stretchy length is the longest.

A cheap piece of fabric tulle
This so called ‘mesh curtain’ and I’m using the term loosely due to what I actually received, is one of the worst purchases I have ever made on Amazon. I was surprised to see such a tiny package when it arrived and when I opened it, I realized why. This is NOT a mesh curtain but literally a tiny piece of crafting/floral tulle you can purchase at any craft store for about 50 cents (similar to what is used to wrap gift baskets and is often included free when you purchase flowers from a florist) and a strip of one sided velcro you find at the dollar store, that’s it. Not only does this piece of tulle not have any edging, it’s cut crooked and looks like someone cut a piece of cheap tulle from a fabric bold using some dull scissors. What a waste of money and this crooked piece of tulle fabric went right into the trash. Never again!

Easy and awesome
I LOVE this stuff. The instructions were very basic, but easy to follow. I applied the velcro and waited two hours, but note that it might be a good idea to use gardening gloves or other protective gloves while applying the velcro because it really tore up the skin on my fingertips! It wasn't painful, it just roughed up the top layer a bit. I rubbed the velcro down with the little rub tool and it worked extremely well. In the corners, I had the velcro strips overlap so there would be no crevices for creatures to get through, and it stuck to itself just fine. Then I put on the screen, which is soft and stretchy. I put it on with my fingers (again, gloves recommended), and then really scraped it down on the velcro with the little black tool. Worked like a charm- be sure to stretch the screen as you go, so it's not loose and blowing in the wind when you're done. If the sun shines on the window directly, it's a bit hard to see out (I got the white screen), but otherwise I can see out clearly but people outside can't see in very well.I will absolutely be buying this again if I need more in the future!

Takes some time to install
This is a great alternative for windows that are odd sized and difficult to buy actual screens for. Needed something to use on the windows while we wait for new ones to be installed. It does take some time and effort but if you follow the instructions and clean the surface area very good before sticking them up it will do the trick. Wouldn't recommend it as a full on replacement for actual screens.

Easy to install, keeps flies and insects away
I moved in to an apartment and had no screen, that was a great solution. I can open window in the evening and get a cool breeze. It was easy to install and stays put even with strong winds. You just have to clean the metal really good, let it dry, don't use anything with oils. And when you put the tape press the screen material with a little tool that is included. I was going up and down and to the sides and pressed with my fingers. I cut it little bigger and fold in in and pressed that in as well. I didn't make it very tight like real screen because I noticed it was peeling off, so I gave it a little breather.

keep insects away!
This is a lifesaver. If you travel abroad in a disease producing mosquito infested area you should pack 4 of this in your travelling llugagge.
