Very happy with this transmitter. It’s paired with a Traxxas TRX-4, replacing a broken one from them.Programming was made easier, after finding the manual online. The included printed manual is incomplete, and you really need the online one to get full use from this transmitter.The neck strap and attachment location really make this work for me. I didn’t realize the value of it, until buying this unit. Highly recommended it! Overall, the grip feels a little cheap (Materials), particularly where the back strap could have been made of a soft rubber. That’s a minor gripe, mostly when compared to much costlier remotes.This one really shines because of it’s 7 channels. For a surface transmitter, that’s excellent. The TRX-4 uses steering, throttle, front locker, rear locker, and the 2-speed servo. If you want to switch lights, that’s now 6 channels. You don’t get that from the OEM Traxxas one, making this a great value.I pulled the receiver apart, and applied conformal coating to it. This is for waterproofing.

I LIKE THIS TRANMITTER.It has excellent range and incredible amount of features.It has a great price for 80.00 dollars.It has to be the best budget transmitter out there.

We will see once it's on the water, but install and setup were simple.... Ran one receiver ant upwards and out of the boat as far as the little wire could go, and the other one 90 degrees out on the inside of the boat.... Won't know until we get it out, but very hopeful based on all the other positive reviews....

The only gripe I have is the on/off sliding switch. I have seen and used switches that looked just like this and I could slide them with my thumb. Not this one. It is way tight and I have to use two fingers with one thumb digging into the ridges to slide it. Features though, I don't know what the two or four hundred dollar Transmitters do but unless they brew me a cup of coffee I'm set.
