Worth the extra money, best oil we've used, adds flavor, not refined, so good !
This is a superb avocado oil, no corners were cut making this stuff. Even my husband, who doesn't like avocados said that this oil made our food taste better. One bottle lasted us only a mere 9 days. There's only two of us and we cook our meals at home and try not to eat out. It does pour out quite quickly and a lot comes out so that's probably one reason why we used so much so quickly but it really is the best oil we've used.We made the mistake of trying another brand (Chosen foods) because we had rally already maxed out our grocery budget for the week and needed something cheaper that would last longer... poor choice. This stuff is quite expensive but it's worth it as well. It doesn't even compare to taste, looks, aroma, or performance of the cheaper oil we got. You do truly get what you pay for and this is top shelf avocado oil, the only one I want to use now! We didn't know how good we had it until we tried out a different oil and we will be going back to Avohass !A good money saving tip for being able to better afford this beautifully crafted, wonderful oil is to get the 6 pack! It's around $14 or so for one 8.5 oz bottle of the extra virgin (non-organic) but it's only around $8 or so for each bottle if you get the 6 pack through the avohass website. $10 more here on Amazon. But definitely still saves some money.I thought I was crazy for paying that much for a bottle that small of avocado oil but I had to try it with everything I read on it and it really was worth it. Our food tasted so wonderfully rich and added a new dimension to it that we can't get now with this cheaper oil we replaced it with. As soon as we run out of this sub-par cheap stuff, we are definitely going back to avohass !One of the BEST things I love most about Avohass is that it's NOT refined and therefore it still has its beautiful rich, green color and a mild aroma along with all the great benefits you still want in an avocado oil. Unlike the refined junk we gave a shot and it's simply junk, doesn't even compare.

QUALITY PRODUCT!
I was so pleased to find this product! I buy extra-virgin, unrefined OLIVE oil, but didn't even know the same thing existed for AVOCADO oil. Don't use it for cooking, as it is unrefined and will smoke. Instead, use it for when you want all the HEALTH BENEFITS of a high-quality cold-pressed oil hat hasn't been heat damaged. This oil is GREEN in color — as it should be. Drizzle it over vegetables or make salad dressing, mayonaise, etc. I made a creamy jalapeno sauce with mine and was very pleased. I couldn't find unrefined avocado oil in any of my local stores. This is expensive but well worth the price, in my opinion.

This ones a winner! I prefer it over the NZ Avohass oil.
I purchased both the Avohass New Zealand and the Avohass Kenya (bottled in California) Avocado Oils to compare and found them to be quite different. For me, the NZ one had a slight flavor of bruised or older avocado. You know that flavor of an avocado that has the grayish patches and you think well, it was $2.49 so I’m using it anyway and then end up picking it out of your salad cause it tastes a bit dank? Yes that flavor. It wasn’t strong and it was edible but the flavor was there. In comparison the Kenyan Avohass tasted clean and fresh. As both these oils are unrefined you will get some flavor. But the methods used to refine oils is not a drawcard for me, so I’m trying to find the best unrefined avocado oil with a light fresh flavor at a decent price point. The Avohass NZ oil can be used in higher heat applications up to 480F whereas the Kenyan version can be used up to 400F.I used the NZ one to fry an egg and could taste the slightly bruised Avocado flavor but if you were making something with a bit of seasoning the flavor would easily disappear and the fact that the free radicals are less with that oil at high temp cooking is a big drawcard. So I would say use both for different applications. For very delicate flavored dishes use the Kenyan version. For more robust flavors that require higher heat use the NZ version.I recently did a lot of research on free radicals and the healthiest cooking oils and the results of my research (into avocado oil, sunflower, safflower, Canola and peanut oils etc) can be found in my other reviews.Avocado comes out tops for high heat cooking applications so I am making the switch and testing out various brands and price points cause it’s admittedly expensive. You may wish to visit my profile and scroll down to my other cooking oil reviews.I will be testing out other avocado oils so to be notified when I post another review click to follow me.If this review has been helpful to you, would you click the helpful button? THIS OIL TASTES GREAT
I just received my order of this Avocado oil and have been drizzling it on my salads. The stuff tastes wonderful and seems fresh w/ a "use by" date in 2026.. It's deep emerald green color makes my mouth water as soon as i see it. Put a tsp full in my mouth and my tastebuds are moved to ecstasy. This Kenyan oil is a good product and will buy again when i need more.

The way avocado oil should be
This is top notch extra virgin avocado oil. You can tell it’s truly extra virgin avocado oil based on the greenish color, as opposed to the more golden color oil you find in store bought avocado oils. Just be careful when cooking as true extra virgin avocado oil has a lower smoke point that regular avocado oil
