Update (Dec 2, 2019): So it's been a little under a year and a half, and the bibs are still going strong with daily use and cleaning (using the method described below). Their color has become dull, and the crumb pockets have become sad and droopy, but the bib fabric and water-resistant backing have held up fantastic (no rips, etc). The Velcro that holds these bibs on your person has worn out though so they barely stick (on both bibs that we have). And on one of the bibs, the threads holding the Velcro to the bib have started to come apart. Not a big deal though: I should be able to replace the Velcro on both bibs even with my limited sewing ability. These bibs are an absolute tremendous value, and I continue to highly recommend them.Original review: These bibs are some of the best purchases I've ever made. Bought them for my handicapped dad who's a very messy eater. For years we've either gone without any kind of bib or with homemade bibs using some clips, twine, and regular terry towels. Unfortunately, this lead to routine nightmares come laundry time since the thick, caked-on food had to be peeled off his clothes and towels before throwing them in the washer (otherwise you'd wind up with food particles all over everything else).For the longest time, I didn't bother looking into real bibs solely because I assumed I'd run into the same problem of having to peel off caked-on food from them before throwing them in the wash. But that's not the case with these bibs at all. The bib's fabric is absorbent enough to hold spilled food and liquid in place (so they don't run onto pants or the floor like with plastic bibs), but the fabric is also slick enough to where even dried food comes off easily with water (and doesn't leave stains).My preferred method of cleaning these bibs is to hang them in the back of the shower, and just hit them with pulsing hot water from my handheld shower head. Even with caked-on food, it only takes about a minute for all of the debris to wash/slide off the bibs. Moreover, these bibs are so thin that if left hanging, they'll literally be completely dry within 6-8 hours (don't worry about their thinness as the back of the bibs have a plastic lining to prevent food from seeping through). Then maybe once every month, I throw the rinsed off bibs in the washing machine to get them truly clean and smelling fresh.I love these bibs, and I highly recommend them. They'll save you lots of time and your sanity.

Fast food on the go isn't super safe, but we all grab something from the drive thru so we got this to prevent the stains and spills on all over my husband's nice dress shirts!

The adult Bib looks very nice. The materials feel like it will withstand many washings. I especially like the little crumb catcher at the bottom. I'm sure that will save lots of time in clean-up after meals. The member of my family I purchased it for is prone to spills and drips because he wants to be as independent as possible. The velcro closure is strong so no accidental falling off during meals and snacks. And it makes it so much easier and safer than the current safety pin and towel we are currently using. Overall I think it will be a great addition to assist in keeping things clean. I'm really happy with the bib.

The Shorewood Medical is the best bib out of all of them. I got it in Black Wide. I got more than one for myself because no matter how hard I try to be careful when I eat noddles or pasta, I get splatters and it's hard to get the stains out. Every spot I see on the bib is a stain I avoided on my clothes. I didn't realize. There is one in my car, at home and at work. Spares are for when some are washed I can grab another. I ordered the Wide, so it covers my lap completely going side to side. These are longer than the others sold out there to cover your legs when sitting like a lap napkin. The pockets catch food if you stand up so it doesn't hit the floor or if you want to carry something in the pocket. The back side is waterproof. The velcro attaches more to the side on the shoulder, so the back of your neck doesn't get scratched with the velcro. I tried several kinds out there and this one is the best. Wide width isn't too large, it only covers more area width-wise, which is what you want. I am 5'9' and am thin. I didn't want a narrow bib. I was after the coverage in the width and length. You can even wear this when cooking.

Color good. Material good. However it is hot when u wear it. I think its a little too long as well.
