The media could not be loaded. I’ve been looking for a compact CD player that’ll fit with my decor so I can play my old CD’s that just aren’t on streaming services. I came across the Majority Homerton 2 and given its array of functionality, looks, and price, I thought I’d give it a spin.It arrived well packed and when I took it out of the box I was surprised by its weight and how sturdy it felt. Once fired up it launched into the set up wizard which is pretty simple to do and took less than 5 minutes.With some 80’s tunes on the CD player I thought I’d better read the instructions. The instructions are online and accessed with the QR code on the box which is a great sustainable touch. They are detailed and easy to follow, but to be honest the Homerton 2 is really intuitive so most people probably won’t need them.All of the functions can be accessed on the remote (which has a lovely ‘click’ to it) or on the front of the unit, but it also has an app, which is probably how I’ll use it. The app is really good, and again the set up was so easy - I think the only thing you can’t do on the app is eject a CD!The Homerton 2 sounds great for its size and although I’ll be integrating it into my current audio eco-system via the jack on the back, it’s good to know it can belt out a tune. And the connectivity available is better than some systems that are far far more expensive - you’ve USB, jacks in and out, Bluetooth (which has great range) and Spotify connect. And on top of that you get podcast player and the internet radio, neither of which I knew I needed but now absolutely love. Both are simple to use, even more so on the app and there is so much to explore.So all in all I’d thoroughly recommend the Homerton 2 to anyone looking for a dab / internet radio / CD player that’s affordable, flexible and has some oomph.

I was looking for something to fit in with my office, not take up too much room but able to listen to DAB, Spotify or other music from my Bluetooth devices, and CDs if I fancied. The Homerton 2 does all of this along with being able to listen to hundreds of other internet radio stations. With a built in speaker too I didn't even need to wire in my Majority D40 speakers unless I really wanted to. The sound from the Homerton 2 is loud enough to fill my office as much as i need it to, and with built in equaliser it is so easy to adjust the sound depending on what I'm listening to. I probably will plug the D40 speakers in as their sound profile is fab, and as the Homerton 2 has a headphone jack this is a simple addition to an already brilliant product. For the price I am blown away, it also looks and feels really well made.The other really good thing is that Majority are looking to become more climate friendly so the packaging is pretty much all recyclable and the weight of the product is kept for shipping by not including things you don't need. There is no instruction manual in the box which might upset some people but the Homerton 2 is so easy to set up I didn't even need to review the online instructions in order to get the device connected and music playing.I haven't tried the CD player yet but there are the usual controls for pause, play, back, forward on the included remote, so I'm sure this will also work a dream. I honestly don't know how Majority do it for such a low price, and such a brilliant product.Well done! 👍

I am so happy with my homerton 2 smart radio.I was first attracted to the sleek look of the radio, and all the features it has. Such as dab, fm radio, CD player, Bluetooth and universal plug and play, Spotify and podcasts universal playback, and dual alarm. Just wow!I am usually not very good with technology, but it was so easy to set up and link to our home WiFi. Setting up was so easy, there was no brochure inside the packaging box they plant a tree instead, helping to keep our planet greener. There was a digital manual to scan with your phone and also an online manual if needed.It has a fantastic range of connectivity and I was pleasantly surprised with its range of abilities. It’s hi tech without being difficult to use.We currently have ours set upIn the kitchen which is quite far away from our home WiFi box but we don’t get any connection issues with it being so far away.It comes with a remote control, and headphone Jack which is so handy too, especially for our youngest to use as we aren’t as keen on her choice of music as her.The sound is amazing and clear for such a small compact product. The design is very neat and smart and fits in with our homeDecor perfectly, I have it in the black colour way but there are other colours to choose from.I like listening to podcasts while working from home and this was perfect for it. There is a good range and easy to find.My older children use it while linked to their phones so they can play their music. my husband loves to listen to his favourite radio channels, it’s easy to skip through the channels and find what you want, the clear digital display shows which channel you are listening to.There is a cd feature so you can listen to your old faves.I am very pleased with this piece of kit and will be purchasing another for our caravan as we love it so much.
