Healthy options
I have been taking these for about a week and so far so good. I take these after I eat breakfast and drink plenty of water with it. If I donāt, I would burp the lemon taste (it didnāt affect me, I just noticed it). Iām being more intentional about what I put in my body and wanted a healthier option instead of what is over the counter. I havenāt noticed any side effects as of yet, easy to swallow, and I have had more energy. I will keep an eye out for any changes but once I get close to the end of the bottle, I will activate the subscription. Happy with this product.

Something to Considerā¦
I got the citrus ones and have had the mint ones in the past. They. Are. Potent. If youāre currently pregnant and sensitive to tastes right now or if strong smells make you nauseous, maybe skip out on this prenatal for the first trimester. I had to give away my mint ones during my first pregnancy because I couldnāt do the mint scent anymore. I do like that they smell good but remember that this is something youāll take everyday and may get sick of quickly. I've taken the citrus ones for almost a week and itās been tolerable thus far. I do want to note that I typically get stomach aches if I take vitamins without food but havenāt experienced that with these! Good luck!

Take the mint essenced at night š
I took the mint flavored prenatals at night through my entire 1st pregnancy. Taking them at night I do not experience any fishy taste and do not burp the fishy burps. No stomach issues or constipation for me. I have a beautiful 18 month old baby girl and we are expecting again. I am taking the same Ritual mint essence as with the 1st pregnancy. Looking forward to sweet baby #2!

Hard to swallow/ strong smell
So far so good! My only complaints are that the smell is a little to strong for my super strong sense of smell that I get with my pregnancies. And I donāt know if anyone else has had this problem but the capsule is so light that it floats to the top of my mouth which makes it harder to swallow and if I push it far to back it hits the eject button which almost makes everything come up.

Great š
These are the most amazing prenatal! This is my 6 brand and by far the best. No need to eat before (your burps will taste a little like the sea.. probably the algae) my nails became super thick, no hair loss. I like the lemon taste itās kind of nice. Some people hate it I saw but itās really not bad.

Overall good product for vegetarians and vegans
Product was as described, arrived on time, sealed and not expired. I used them the with my last pregnancy and just found out Iām 5 weeks pregnant a few days ago. Ordered them last night before I went to bed and they were at my door when we woke up today. Iām gonna see how this first month goes before I subscribe.

Side Effect: Fish Burps
Love everything about these prenatals but the fish burps are so bad. Iāve never experienced that before but my husband told me āfish burpsā are a thing with some supplements. These are easy to swallow and have a great scent of lemon to them which helps with the overall experience of initially taking them.I love all the research done on them and that theyāre a safe brand to take.I just canāt handle the fish burps anymore unfortunately. Itās so unpleasant.I did order the choline supplements and liking those on days I donāt eat eggs.

The smell is highly pleasant.
Overall, I love these vitamins. I've been taking them for 7 years now. I started with the regular mint ones and then when I decided to try to get pregnant, I switched to the prenatal. The lemon essence that accompanies the prenatal is far more pleasant during pregnancy than the mint was. I feel as though they met most of vitamin needs, although I did have to take an extra iron pill because I'm chronically anemic. During pregnancy, because I deal with hyperemesis, I had a hard time swallowing the pills. My gag reflex was very sensitive and I feel that while they are a normal sized capsule, they would have been easier to take had they been smaller. Over the years the prices have fluctuated significantly, mostly heading up, which has made taking them a costly endeavor. The main cons of this product other than the price are that sometimes the bottle arrives and is missing some of the vitamins, and the other is that the pills eventually turn dark, even if they aren't expired. The customer service has always been great though and they've been quick to end replacements.
