Good value and introduction to the W&N professional paints. Warning: will lead one to spend more on paint later, as it is a joy to work with.

Cost effective and high quality set of acrylic paints
I really appreciated the color selection available in this set. The value is there based on the color selection that is included. You can mix most colors from this. I did go ahead and supplement with 7 more colors to get my full palette (perylene green, sap green, payne’s gray, cad yellow medium, burnt sienna, burnt umber, cobalt blue).

Windsor Neuton is pure color! The bes paints ever. Been painting with them for 60 years both acrylic and oils!Buy only the best if you really are a painter!! 🧑🏻‍🎨

Quantity over Quality
I’m a newbie to painting and I figured Windsor and Newton was the best so I bought 12 colors for 70.00 a bit pricey. When I used the paint it was so thick that my petals couldn’t be shaped correctly. The green was not a leaf green so I tried mixing colors it had a blue cast. I gave up mixing colors to achieve what I wanted so I bought 48 colors of Liquidtex for half the price of 12 colors cost. I feel a beginner should go for quantity over quality. In this way you can just pick up a tube of a leaf green paint and paint a leave.
