Kinda brittle plastic. Needed to file edges off on the three metal plugs. Rough sharp edges

Easy to install and just the right stuff needed to getter done who hasn't went to hook up a trailer and found the plug torn up I worked in the industry I found hundreds there's not a day that has gone by that you will not need this item ( if you have a trailer you will need one) or two or more
