Trying to get my dog to take his medicines was always a major problem. No way was I going to get him to swallow ANY pill and when I tried to hide them in his food he would always find them and spit them out. This pill crusher has been a life saver. It grinds his pills into a very fine powder and when I sprinkle it into his food he doesn't even know it. So easy to operate - just pop the pill in, twist the top and it grinds the pills perfectly every time. This has been a time saver and a life saver!

I have been using this pill crusher for almost four months. It works beautifully with multiple pills and requires little effort. Just put in the pills, screw down, screw up a bit, shake, screw down again etc. You can crush as fine as you like in no time. The big knobs are easy on the hands. Highly recommended.

It’s shocking how easily this crushes a pill! We took this overseas to help crush our malaria pills for our kids. It was integral in helping to grind it to a dust so we could mask its taste in juice

I used the small crusher for a few months, & it was pretty great. It does require a decent amount of force, & I’d have to untwist & recrush about 5 times to get it all the way down to pure powder. Still much easier than using a mortar, & I was happy with it. But I recently left it behind on vacation, & had to buy a new one. This time got a large version from a box store, & it’s wayyyy easier to twist, & it crushed to powder in 1-2 twists. So if you’re looking for ease of use, the larger one is def the way to go. I will reorder the smaller one to use for travel though.

Put pill in. Twist. Unscrew lightly and tap the side. Repeat 3 times if you want really fine powder. I like how it feels ergonomic.Uncoated pills can be easily crushed and transferred into a 00 clear capsule --as long as the pill is okay to do that with. Many natural supplements are uncoated, but this makes taking them possible. Although time consuming, it makes taking impossible pills now possible!

Keeping it simple: This works great and is a great value. Don't know why I waited so long to buy one.

The pills I need to crush are large and strong. To hide the pills in my dog meals the pills must be reduced to fine dust. After 6 or 7 cycles I can crush the pills to a fine powder however even more fine would be much preferred. If the pill pieces are sand size my dog will detect it and refuse.I'll go back to my original method. Fold a paper in quarters. Smash with medium size soft face hammer until pill is a fine dust. At least the pill crusher is quieter method.Cream Cheese is a wonderful way to hide dog pills, unlike gravy it does not pick up the taste of the pill. However if a pill upsets my dogs tummy he will quit taking even cream cheese.Alleluia is a 130# black lab and quite clever. A dog half his size I can force a pill. He has a head larger than a volley ball and one might force him to take a pill one or twice but not every morning.UPDATE: This morning Alleluia started his thyroid pills which are small and not super firm. On those this pill crusher does a fine job, so you results achieve are dependent on the pills you need to crush.

This pill crusher does a wonderful job at crushing pills and I love that it will also store pills too
