Why did you pick this product vs others?:I don’t ever write reviews, but I felt like I had to for this. Absolute game changer if you’re coming from one of the standard, non-weighted vac heads. This this is amazing and I was able to do my entire 24’ round pool in about 15 minutes with little to no stir up!

My old vacuum head died, so I purchased this item, and boy, is it a wonderful replacement! Heavy enough to stay down in the pool, not so heavy it is a burden. Brushes do help, and swivel is nice to have. Cleaned my pool of every little bit.

Definitely helps on the gunite pool with the wheels. Does a decent job! I'd say it does a perfect job but it might be me causing the issue. It seems to not grab everything all the time. But I do like the vacuum!

Works well - like the swivel connection, too. The only negative is that it is a bit light in the pool & I may add some lead weights to it.

Well constructed. Heavy duty. The flexibility is a must in my pool and it works great.

I'm neurotic about my pool. I skim, I have a bottom pool suction cleaner but it doesn't always get into the nooks and crannies nor does it go on the ledge part of the pool, hence why I like these types of vacuums. I know the suction from the pump hose is wicked strong but when the hose is attached to this the suction, for whatever reason, became rather weak. I had a triangular shaped attachment that broke recently - it wasn't expensive but it did a great job. I didn't purchase that one again due to the reviews here. I wish I bought the cheaper triangular shaped one - the suction and brushes were far superior.

No aluminum handle. The product description indicates it has an aluminum handle. Upon opening the package it was immediately apparent that the handle is molded plastic. I ordered this more expensive vacuum head specifically because the handle attachment to the head is the first thing to wear out, and this one was supposed to have an aluminum handle with stainless steel bolt. The handle's swivel joint is held in place with a single bolt - both ends of which are attached to plastic. This is not a design I would expect to last a long time. I returned this item immediately.
