Great for the Chainsaw that sleeps with me
I am a verbal autistic and ADHD women. What the H*ll does that mean, right? It means noise sensitivity to the max! What is worse is my husband, AKA the Chainsaw snores very loud. My Bully Dog snores in opposite pattern of his! Add my fan, the window opened, the creaks of the house, and the buzzing of everything is compounded by my funny brain. I tried the earplugs cops use at the range. They did not fit in my tiny ears. I tried M@ but they did not fit and when I slept on them it hurt! These are perfect. I cut one in half and use them. Blocks out everything! The only issue is I do not hear alarms :) So I did have to get an alarm that vibrates, and we set the lights in the room to turn on with the alarm sound.

Sensory overload problems
I was dealing with a problem that made me want to isolate myself in the quitest room in the house. Never left the house without headphones and had difficulty with sounds overloading my brain and making me freak out. Things were finally quiet and after 5 days I started talking with my family again. Still a couple problems while being outside because I had been dealing with it for a while. Started going shopping and doing everything that I normally would. Was still nervous but got my confidence back. After a month, I no longer needed them and could go anywhere without sensory overloads. Hard to notice in the ears and you can wear them in public without anyone noticing. A little hard to hear people when they're talking, so you'll probably have to pop one side out. A little startling on the 4th of July, so a heads up when there are fireworks. Sounds a little different...10/10 Great for sleep and when you want near silence in a public place.

Maybe its more noise than these can handle.
I like that you can select the size that best fits your ear canal, very helpful and comfortable. The noise is lessened but not as much as I was hoping for. I still use them however, I am considering noise canceling as the next step. Love the little metal canister for the extra buds.

Perfect for Light Sleepers
My husband is a light sleeper and wakes up if he hears a fly sneeze. I got him these ear plugs as a stocking stuffer for Christmas last year. He loved them and said not only are they high quality in terms of blocking out noise, but they’re comfortable to sleep with (he’s a side sleeper). He asked me to order him more :)

I really wanted these to work! But they are not for me.
I've been using a product like this for some time. I drew a "line in the sand" last year on my bilateral hearing loss and decided to use ear plugs in every case where I know the noise level will be excessive (mostly live music and dancing, but I've used them for concerts and sporting events).I saw these and thought they'd be an upgrade...and they _might_ work for some people. However, my experience and that of my fiancée was not good. (1) Theses didn't fully block the sound. The good news (for me) is that my ears are not "ringing" (a clear sign of additional hearing loss), but I don't want a product that I have to finagle to get it to work and I had to adjust these multiple times. I just want to put them on and forget about it. (2) The product is skimpy on the plug material itself. If it fully closed the ear canal, this wouldn't be an issue, but as I mentioned, it didn't. Unfortunately, I am a vigorous dancer and I've had issues with pre-fab plugs falling out (not that my ear canals are really large, they're not - I just move a lot). That said, the "shape your own" model generally stays put and doesn't cause any issue. In this case, my upgrade was a downgrade and I will just keep on using the brand I switched from. They were comfortable and they clearly helped - just not as good as what I am already using. It's possible that I just sweat too much and that created the issue I had - although my girl also didn't care for the new ones and I've sweat just as much if not more with the other brand (because I've used them when it's been hot outside).I will not buy these again nor recommend them.

More than one use!
I don't use these for earplugs but I use them for my crafts and in trailer. I put 1 down and mush it then set a figure on it, mush it into plug and it holds tight- even when traveling in motorhome. Tried various other ways and this was the only way to keep knick knacks on motorhome shelf and it holds that object in place! I use them to hold candles in candle holders too!

Uncomfortable, little noise reduction
These do not significantly reduce noise. They take the edge off of traffic noise but I can clearly hear the cat purring next to me or my phone in the next room. They actually amplify high pitch sounds like a fridge fan. Hair gets stuck in them. After a while they become so uncomfortable that I remove them while asleep and they end up stuck in my hair which is a real mess.
