Not recommended.
I'm all for making cheap tools that need finishing, but this just isnt even close. The wood is bad quality, the blade is terrible steel, and you do much to make it work right. Not recommended.

I am used to the American planner better. Easier to make adjustments. It does not always stay in that position.

Sharp right from the box!! Would have gotten 5 stars if it had even the most minimal directions. Haven't had to sharpen it yet but I'm anticipating an easy go of it.
