Salomon Women's X Ultra Pioneer Mid Climasalomon Waterproof Hiking Boot

These hiking boots fit me perfectly and were comfortable right out of the box. I have worn them walking on pavement and they are comfortable for that as well. I have not encountered any issues with the hooks catching the laces of the other shoe as others have described, and wonder if those people are not lacing the boot all the way up as instructed by the tag on the boot. I even tried to get them to catch on purpose and was unsuccessful. They look great on and I get compliments wherever I wear them. These boots are quite warm. I have not tromped through water in them, but am assured by friends who own them that they are waterproof, and that they have never slipped while hiking. I find there is not a lot of arch support in these, so if you need that, you might size up and add an insert. The width seems perfect for an average foot, and toe box does not cramp my toes. Quality is good. These boot laces stay tied. Seems to be great value for the cost. I am definitely looking forward to hiking in these, and would buy this brand again.

They make great shoes. This one has a boxier toe. It was much too high on the ankle for me, so I returned it but if high shoes are your thing you'd like it

So comfortable. They hug your feet as you go. True to size. Roomy toe box.

These truly are waterproof in a great pair of boots! I bought myself a pair and one for my daughter and we use them all winter with no leaking. Great product for the money.

I got these to upgrade to a waterproof style. They’re lightweight, good amount of room in the toe box. Pretty flexible for a hiking shoe without feeling too much of the ground underneath. Colors go well with almost everything. I did size up 1/2 size to a 7 to accommodate winter socks and they fit perfectly. Traction was great even on wet rocks and sandy hills. No noticeable wear after the first few uses which is nice. They’re not very breathable due to waterproofing so it took a day or two to really tell if they were waterproof..

I can't believe I was able to find the exact same Salomon boots I've worn for almost 20 years are still available! That's a testament to just how great these boots are. So lightweight, waterproof, sure-footed and stable! Just tall enough to protect your ankles but still allow plenty of movement. When I got my first pair at REI they had a simulated rocky trail to test them on and I was hooked. No matter how steep the trail, these boots are the best. And they really hold up - I only replaced my old ones because the soles were kind of worn, but other than replacing the laces once, the uppers are still in great shape. I've had a few pairs of boots in the past, mostly high-end leather that eventually crack or soften. These boots are so much lighter and easier to hike in, I can hardly wait for my next adventure.

DisappointedI have owned several pairs of the Speedcross shoes and I had hoped for the same quality with the boots but sadly no. The speed cross shoes were really destroyed in obstacle races and the boots I have worn a handful of times. The material is cracking and peeling on both boots. It doesn’t hender the usage but you spend money on a brand, you expect a return on the product

So comfortable and protective for my long hikes in Arizona. They fit perfectly, super traction!
