Perfect for my half bay window
Easy to install. Looks great, holds my medium-heavy curtains and the track is lovely and smooth and quiet. It comes tightly coiled. I re-coiled it in the OPPOSITE direction overnight, securing it with masking tape. In the morning it was perfectly straight and a breeze to install. It was very good value. Very pleased 🙂

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Just what I needed!
I used this type of curtain track when I lived in the UK. It's simple, strong and easy to fit and remove and most importantly, flexible.I couldn't find these anywhere in the US, but knew it was what I needed to add curtains to my recessed dining room window to help reduce the heat load from the afternoon Texas sun. Thank you Amazon and Curtains2bedding!On receipt, I unrolled the track from the package, straightened it out by hand bending (it'll retain some small variations from perfectly straight, but it's not an issue), then measured, cut with a small hand saw and trimmed the flash off the end with a small knife. I measured out the support locations and made sure there were supports either side of the bend radius to keep that radius in place. The track just positions over the support and is held in place by rotating a locking lever (see my photo uploads). The hooks just clip over the track. Put them on the curtain first (I used IKEA drapes as they are designed to work with this type of track), then clip onto the track. The fixed end hook holds the curtain in place at the end of the track and covers any rough cutting of the end (!). The curtain glides effortlessly around the track. If you do get a rough slide (heavy curtains), apply some furniture polish to the upper edge and it'll slide like skates on ice. These did the job perfectly and at a great price!

The only solution for our living room
We have a non-recessed bay window wall and we wanted day and normal curtains. I didn't want to put a straight rails across the face of the wall as this would've meant losing a lot of space when the curtains are closed, including covering the cabinet. Saw this nifty solution and it was long enough to make two "hanging" and curved rail tracks for both sets of curtains. You have to unravel the track and let it "straighten" out. You can do this by putting some heavy books on it at intervals of 30cm or so. Best to do this 24 hours before you start working! If you're in a rush, just cut to length and bend in the opposite direction!I marked out the track lines before doing anything as I knew this would take some prepping to make sure they're level and parallel to the bay shape. It was a nightmare to install, but that's not the fault of this product. Our bay ceiling has a metal plate above the small gap past the plasterboard and so I had to cut the wall plugs short and use different screws as I couldn't drill all the way through. Despite this, the fixings went in and are very sturdy. Then bending and clipping the the track on is a doddle, it's quite a nice locking system and feels very secure.I was worried about the aesthetics but I think the curtains looks great and it's a very tidy solution too!
